I’m upgrading from the iPhone 6 too. I ordered the iPhone 11 Pro Max and won’t see delivery until sometime between October 9-16. Tablet wise, I traded in my iPad Air 2 to an iPad Mini (version 5) a couple months ago. I can’t wait for Night Mode. Did they give you $100 for your Air 2? Yes, sir. $118, to be exact.

I’ve been loving 🥰 iOS 13....(anyone notice the powerful new editing features that can be used right here on the forum??) The real kick 🦵 however was when I plugged into Apple Car 🚘 Play in the new Nissan Murano. Entirely new, stable and well ordered interface shows up on the dash. 12 was problematic in the car, so this was a revelation with my 64 gig 6SE. I turned in my car with CarPlay and really miss it, I now find plain Bluetooth so ... primitive. I haven’t tried my iPhone on the forum. Haven’t tried Bluetooth only connection yet...I still use it when I’m in a hurry. New interface should be similar minus the CarPlay add ons. Hands free voice texting is terrific with CarPlay.

My Mom’s iPhone 6 has been in dire need of upgrading so I’ve taken it upon myself to gift her my 9 month old iPhone XR, thus ordering myself an iPhone 11. I know there’s not a whole lot of changes from the XR to the 11 but it always fun and exciting to get my next iPhone. Apple must be a little behind as delivery date is by Oct 2. Luckily I’m in no hurry. Checked my order status and Apple has moved up my delivery date to this coming Friday, which is 5 days sooner. Nice surprise indeed. I have also ordered an Encased holster and case that will be here Tuesday. I tried out this brand with my iPhone XR that is supposedly(I've not noticed) used by the military and police/fire departments that is only a third of the price of the OtterBox Defender I had been religiously using and have found it to be every bit as reliable, thus my latest purchase for my iPhone 11 pictured below. www.encased.com/shop/iphone-11-rebel-case-camo/www.amazon.com/Encased-iPhone-Holster-Protective-Rugged/dp/B07X4BBBJ2/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=encased+iphone+11+camo&qid=1569179060&s=wireless&sr=1-4

It’s super light and I own a leather/pleather cover made by Apple for it. I’ve replaced the battier, so I’ll drive her into the dirt. We do own an IPad Pro but I prefer the Air 2. Have a great day! 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

iPadOS was released today, my iPad Pro 11 now has it installed (it released as 13.1). There are so many changes I'm just going to link the page describing them all, I'm sure we'll start waxing over our favorites soon (my first is smaller App icons giving more Apps per screen). I was working on my Mac at the time the time the iPad was updating, once it finished a message came up that a software update would be required to continue iPad compatibility; I accepted and the download began, everything continued seamlessly until it was ready to install. Though it did not require the Mac to reboot, it did require me to close iMovie and Garageband which I was using at the time. This is not the MacOS Catalina update that will be out in October. >>> Apple iPadOS Update & Features Page <<<iOS 13.1 (now only for iPhones) was also released today, my iPhone X has been updated without issue. If you've installed iOS 13.0 you should probably update to 13.1 right away, if you haven't updated yet, you might want to do it now (if you're ready and your hardware is compatible).

If say you use it primarily as a music server, it likely won’t matter. I’d probably want iPadOS on a newer iPad.

Can you post the warning you saw?

None of those no, biggest use is I use the Audirvana Remote App on the iPad to control Audirvana on the Mac Mini. Chad

tvOS 13.0 was also released yesterday, both my ATV4K and ATVHD (aka 4G) have been updated. A bit long on my slow connection, but otherwise uneventful. Not much to report yet (the underwater screensavers haven’t been loaded!), a slightly different UI, but nothing too drastic, I’ll try some watching tonight. Here are a couple shots: I also just noticed a new iPadOS feature (possibly iOS too), when I went to select these pictures I was given an option to resize them on the fly (if say they had been over the 3MB limit for Proboards). You used to only get this option when you attached images to an eMail, very handy!

I ended up canceling my pre-order on the iPhone on Saturday and went directly to the actual Apple retail Store on Sunday and waited in line to get it. I love the screen size (never had a cell phone this big) but the thing is too damn big to carry around...LOL! I should have went with the smaller iPhone 11 Pro.

I didn't order my iPhone 11 until after comparing my iPhone XR size-wise to the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I too thought it was too big, and I really like the size of my XR, so I stayed with the same size and went with the iPhone 11, which is now scheduled by UPS for Saturday delivery.
