Lot of nice new features, my only gripe is that selecting text has been awkward again, they go through this with new releases now and then. It seems better in 13.1.1.

When I googled the release there were more then a couple caution links. Many of them suggested that the consumer should wait to install until the problems were solved. Thanks for your service and this thread. 👍

My iphone 7 and iPad have been updated. This time it took a while for the updates but I like the result. Dark mode is good as it's easy on the eyes and prolongs battery use.

13.1.2 is now available for iPhone and iPad. Thanks, didn’t see that one. Did you get tvOS 13 on your ATV yet? The underwater screensavers have started to download, got the Cape Seals today, pretty cool. My iphone 7 and iPad have been updated. This time it took a while for the updates but I like the result. Dark mode is good as it's easy on the eyes and prolongs battery use. Good to have you back hemster!

13.1.1 fixed two big bugs for me: 1 - Apple Pay wasn't working at POS terminals 2 - Bluetooth audio car connectivity wasn't working.
Installing 13.1.2 right now.

I hate when something changes, and then I can’t remember if it really changed, happened recently with tone controls on the RMC-1 vs how it used to be on the XMC-1, there I actually remembered correctly.
It seems to me that before iPadOS 13, when I was on the ‘Newest Threads’ page/sort in the Lounge, I only had to click once on a thread’s page number to go to that page. Now it seems I have to click once to bring focus to the page number, then again to actually get there. This is only on the main page, once you’re in the thread you only need one click to change pages. Has anyone else noticed this, or has it always been like this way?
... the mind is a terrible thing to waste 🤯

Well I upgraded my desktop Mac mini to Catalina yesterday. I've had to jump through some hoops with the Toshiba UHDTV I use as a display, but I have it working. Here's a quick shot showing the gorgeous desktop photo of Catalina Island, in the pic you can also see I’m using a new feature called "Sidecar", where you can have an iPad as a second monitor.

Well, the power’s been out a couple days and not much else to do, thought I’d catch up on some threads.
iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS 13.2 came out today, as I’m working on a cell connection I won’t be downloading until power is restored, so haven’t tried them. Big new iOS feature ‘Deep Fusion’ is for the iPhone 11’s with the fancy new camera, the rest of us get new emojis, Siri security changes, HomePod features, and some editing features, along with the usual security and bug fixes; the whole release note for iOS is below. Don’t know what’s new in tvOS 13.2, but you can ‘get it now’!
iOS 13.2 introduces Deep Fusion, an advanced image processing system that uses the A13 Bionic Neural Engine to capture images with dramatically better texture, detail, and reduced noise in lower light, on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Additional features include updated and additional emoji, Announce Messages for AirPods, support for AirPods Pro, HomeKit Secure Video, HomeKit enabled routers, and new Siri privacy settings. This update also contains bug fixes and improvements. Camera
Deep Fusion for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max uses the A13 Bionic Neural Engine to capture multiple images at various exposures, run a pixel-by-pixel analysis, and fuse the highest quality parts of the images together resulting in photos with dramatically better texture, details, and reduced noise, especially for mid to low light scenes. Ability to change the video resolution directly from the Camera app for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Emoji
Over 70 new or updated emoji, including animals, food, activities, new accessibility emoji, gender neutral emoji, and skin tones selection for couple emoji. AirPods support
Announce Messages with Siri to read your incoming messages aloud to your AirPods. AirPods Pro support. Home App
HomeKit Secure Video enables you to privately capture, store, and view encrypted video from your security cameras and features people, animal, and vehicle detection. HomeKit enabled routers put you in control of what your HomeKit accessories communicate with over the internet or in your home. Siri
Privacy settings to control whether or not to help improve Siri and Dictation by allowing Apple to store audio of your Siri and Dictation interactions. Option to delete your Siri and Dictation history from Siri Settings. This update also includes bug fixes and other improvements. This update:
Fixes an issue that may prevent passwords from autofilling in 3rd party apps. Resolves an issue that may prevent the keyboard from appearing when using Search. Addresses an issue where swipe to go home might not work on iPhone X and later. Fixes an issue where Messages would only send a single notification when the option to repeat alerts was enabled. Addresses an issue where Messages may display a phone number instead of a contact name. Resolves an issue that caused Contacts to launch to the previously opened contact instead of the contact list. Fixes an issue that may prevent Markup annotations from being saved. Resolves an issue where saved notes could temporarily disappear. Fixes an issue where iCloud Backup might not successfully complete after tapping Backup Now in Settings. Improves performance when using AssistiveTouch to activate App Switcher.

I should have added that macOS Catalina also had an update yesterday — 10.15.1, it fixed an HDMI 4K issue for me.
I would caution serious iTunes users who have their libraries on macOS AND use the Apple Remote App, not to upgrade to Catalina, the Remote doesn’t work (though there is a workaround).
... and finally for those of us with older Series 1 and 2 Apple Watches, watchOS 6 is now available!
