Supplemental update 13.4.1 is now available for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS,

iOS 13.4.1 includes bug fixes for your iPhone.
* Fixes an issue where devices running iOS 13.4 could not participate in FaceTime calls with devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier
* Addresses a bug with the Settings app where choosing Bluetooth from the quick actions menu on the Home screen would fail

iPadOS 13.4.1 includes bug fixes for your iPad.
* Fixes an issue where devices running iPadOS 13.4 could not participate in FaceTime calls with devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier
* Addresses an issue on iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) where the flashlight may not turn on after tapping the Flashlight button in Control Center or on the Lock screen
* Addresses a bug with the Settings app where choosing Bluetooth from the quick actions menu on the Home screen would fail

macOS Catalina 10.15.4 supplemental
* update includes a fix for a FaceTime bug, as well as an issue where you “may repeatedly receive a password prompt for an Office 365 account.
* There are also fixes for the 2020 MacBook Air
* Increase USB-C performance across all Mac models

I believe the answer is no, iPadOS 13 will not run on the original iPad Air. I’m going by the following which list compatible models for 13. I’d think by now they would only offer the update if your model supports it, but I haven’t researched that.

I believe the answer is no, iPadOS 13 will not run on the original iPad Air. I’m going by the following which list compatible models for 13. I’d think by now they would only offer the update if your model supports it, but I haven’t researched that.

From my experience from my original iPad it will only update to the last release that it was allowed to update to, it finished at IOS 5 haha

I don’t recall what update it was but my iPad ran so slow afterwards that it was rendered useless. I was rather pissed. Now, I’m scared when the iPad gets long in the tooth.
