Hello People I am new to Emotiva world and to this forum. I would like your help on the Dirac calibration. All configurations are done with XMC-2 and Dirac. I took the Main position and calibrated. At the end it gives me "Low Signal-to-noice level" warning and when I "Dismiss" it does not do any. Does NOT show any lines / graph. I am not able to proceed further. I played with Gain and Master volume.also, I switched off the subwoofer amp(too noisy) but no matter how many settings I changed, it does not give me results. XMC-2 XPA-11 7.1.4 Dirac 3.x Thanks for your time. See this link: emotivalounge.proboards.com/post/1044020/thread

It was designed to be used on a computer/laptop that wasn't using the same display. You could disconnect then set your OSD to the highest transparency setting then try again.

I have my HTPC with Dirac 3.2 installed connected to the XMC-2 via HDMI. When I enable Dirac on my speaker Preset 1. The XMC-2 GUI doesn't go away! Who test these things? Plus, the XMC-2 doesn't support disabling one of the back channel. I have 6.1 and I have to disable my real channel for Dirac to run -- so no filter for my back View AttachmentLighten the OSD transparency, works fine on mine.

Now that you have your kit you should move to the Official Dirac thread to get more help.

I received my Emotiva "New Dirac Submission" email on 7/31. Am I supposed to do anything else or just wait until I get an email with a shipping tracking number from Emotiva?

“success at last” is the thread title.
26 thread pages and five months later.....
Have to admire all your patience.

Not yet in my opinion. For many the enabling firmware is a retrograde step, breaking some aspects of core Processor functionality

This does work without a problem with the XMC-1 and DIRAC. A step backwards it seems ... The G3P works differently with Dirac than most other products. Expect there to be continued differences until the code is married with the DACs not requiring us to use the EDNIB.

All you need for this to work is a Pi and the image of the SD card. Anyone got the image to share? Being OS and not going to see my box for another 4 to 8 weeks or never is getting beyond a joke..

Following the proper path..
I registered my MAC address a couple of weeks ago and haven't received any notification of that..
Am I expecting an email about registration or it just all happens in the background?

Am I expecting an email about registration or it just all happens in the background? You should receive an email from Emotiva confirming your Name, Email Address, Processor Type, and Mac Address. Some time later you will receive an email advising that your Mac Address has been submitted to Dirac. Sometime after that you will receive notice of shipment for the Dirac Kit. No telling when any of the above will take place. Just have to wait, as usual around here it seems.

XMC-2 XPA-11 7.1.4 Dirac 3.x Thanks for your time. I kept receiving this error right after the subwoofer measurement. I had my subs configured as mono, and my sub was plugged into the left sub out. When it tried to measure the right sub (which it shouldn't do configured as mono), it didn't detect a signal, and failed. The solution, of course, is to configure things the way Emotiva intended, and use the center sub output if you only have one subwoofer. Don't know if you're having the same issue as me, but if you are, there's some discussion about it in the last page or two of the thread you were linked to by Thunderduck.

I living 2.0 ATM, better than 1.09 but worse than 1.10 what I meant is I live in Australia (OS in relation to the US) and our Kits to the best of my knowledge having shipped yet, with the times for shipping, customs and extra time for covid-19 (we are in full lockdown in Melbourne) it's going to be a while before I see my kit but I have a lot to be grateful for, still have my health and a job, so if this is the worse thing that happens to be this year I'll say I am pretty lucky <4yo petulant child> but I want my Dirac now </4yo petulant child>
