If everything is in good shape on that a7III, it will please no end. Also the long life battery is a big plus, good focus engine, and fine 4K video too. And large selection of FE mount lenses from Sony and 3rd party support make the Sony very attractive too. The a6400 is a good camera but battery life is not as good. One of the reasons why I like the
newer Sony cameras taking the bigger NPF-Z100 battery.
I bought a battery grip too for the extended range of time also I have big hands. And big glass so the battery grip is nice. You don't have too if you don't want too. Get one used on MPB.com. I got all my Sony's used from them along with a 6 month warranty. But Ebay is fine too. Just have to be sure it is functioning correctly.

Nothing major... simply needed another 2' RCA for my BasX A3 to match the other pair I already had... also picked up a shorter trigger cable.   |

I wanted a second camera that was small but capable for situations where I didn't need the full frame Z6. This Z50 is small, lightweight and performs very well. I would love to go mirrorless, however I'm too immersed in the SLR and DSLR world. Nikon D750 and Nikon F4S and multiple lens. Will never sell the F4S even though I rarely shoot film anymore. It's such a beautiful, high end piece. Unfortunately Nikon says they will not come up with future DSLR cameras because mirrorless is the present and the future. They will continue to sell what they have. I have noticed that lots of people are selling their DSLR cameras and lens in order to move on and the used market prices have really come down. |

The camera I had for years was the Nikon D70s...sold that a few years ago and replaced with the D750. Going to be selling my D750 soon along with a few screw drive lenses. It's an outstanding digital SLR but I'm moving to mirrorless exclusively with the FTZ adapter for my older lenses. |
