Can a pre-order list be started? Thx, Rob I am sure once the unit goes into production and is on the boat from China there will be a list started. |

Cathy has previously said that she will open a Pre-Order List about 30 days prior to the XDA-1 release. Thus, it appears the list will not be opened up for another few weeks.

HA! Found this out there. Circa 2010 -- Was trying to find the first mention of RMC Its on hold until I work through what are real issue on the UMC and what are just user or operational issues. Once I get this behind me, I can knock it out pretty quick.  Forget about the UMC (I want a XMC, or better still, a RMC with dual video matrix sometime next year for our HT), any progress with the DAC? I want to stream from my iMac to it! |

Novice question. How much better would this be than the DAC that is in my XMC-1? What would I be getting? More clarity? Definition? Soundstage? How would this "improve" my system? Thx

Emotiva doesn't make much of a better DAC than the one in the XMC-1, unless it's the DAC contained in the newest generation of processors.
For some reason, the owners of the new generation of processors have reframed from commenting on the differences between the DACs.
