If he only supplied measurements, this would be true. However he floods his measurement info with his opinions on why he's getting the measurements he's getting, and his opinions on what should, not could, be done to improve those measurements. That being said, there's plenty of room in audio for the Amir's of the world and his followers. More power to him/them. Or... Assuming his measurements methodology are sound, you can formulate your own opinion based upon what measurements matter you. What you state is perfectly true, however that's not the point. The point is stating that Amir ONLY provides measurements and NO opinions, is completely false.

Show me ANY audio equipment reviewer who doesn't have opinions

And I never claimed he didn't have opinions. Show me ANY audio equipment reviewer who doesn't have opinions Don't know what to tell you. Audiosyndrome replied to DYohn stating "No opinion, just measurements.". Then you replied to the same DYohn post that "measurements aren't opinions". The rule of context dictates both of you are claiming Amir only supplies measurements, not opinions, hence my response.

There is also some malice in the reviews. Emailing Emotiva on a weekend and publishing results of a bug on Monday saying that the company never contacted him.

I see no malice in any of Amir’s reviews. In fact I purchased an XMC-2 after reading the ASR review of the RMC-1 and seeing how Emotiva fixed the issue he uncovered. The site does great service IMO to consumers of high end audio gear who appreciate having some external objective measures to see if the manufacturers actually meet their advertised specs. Yes, it’s a small sample size of usually only one unit but there are few alternatives for third party measurements. And many sites masquerade as reviews when they are actually disguised snake oil purveyors or enablers. It would be nice to receive a calibration certificate with high end gear so that we would know how the gear we purchase performs.

Sounds like you're trying to put salesman out of jobs and pointing everyone in ASR's direction!
