It's called 'A Hook'........ Any fans of Roy Thinnes in The Invaders? Got routine and predictable after a while but the premise was than pretty neat.... I used to like The Invaders

you know, One of the really awful entries in the 'SciFi' TV sweepstakes has not yet been mentioned.
I only do so because it starred Barbara Bain and Martin Landau.....a married couple at that time.
Give Up?
Space 1999 started with a nuclear disposal site on the backside of the moon going 'critical' and rocketing the moon off into space.....
than it got weird....

I know this is NOT a TV car, but I'm just keying off the 'Mannix' cars.....which were not availble for public purchse. THIS might be the Most Valuable Japanese car EVER......and was Custom for a James Bond movie......I suspect because Sean Connery was simply TOO TALL to fit in the standard model. silodrome.com/toyota-2000gt-roadster/

As a kid in the 50's, I thought the original Amos and Andy was really funny, but Howdy Doody not so much. The Mickey Mouse Club was also a fav. But my favorite shows from the next period were documentaries of nuclear weapons tests. I remember when TV first came to the neighborhood; the show was a circus, without narration. What followed for me was 70 or so years of wasted time. The tradition continues, but in higher resolution and color.

Just TRY to find one of the WB Bugs Bunny Cartoons of the WWII era where anti-Japanese sentement was all the rage. And the '50s version of Amos & Andy? Racist by modern standards. Those episodes will NEVER see the light of day again. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugs_Bunny_Nips_the_NipsThis sort of thing:

Thanks to modern technology. I’ve been able to enjoy reruns of much of these programs from the 50s and 60s in the here and now without the fuzz from a rabbit ear antenna instead the crystal clarity of digital…… And equitable trade to have some fun here or there

When I want to watch some early Earthly TV from the 50s or so..... ? I hop in the space ship and travel out about 70 or so Light Years and put up the BIG antenna. Rabbit Ears with each Ear about 40 miles long seems to work...... Signal is a little weak, but nothing a huge Linear Amplifier upside down in a vat of Liquid Nitrogen can't handle..... I have it on good authority that we stopped broadcasting The Lucy Show JUST IN TIME since a vote had been taken to find the source of that crap and ELIMINATE the senders.......Earth Dodged a Bullet.....or maybe an Asteroid the size of Kansas?
