Gotta love a forum when even the moderator s don't read what was said completely (or ignore it), take things out of context, then revert to "smartassism" for a reply. You said "moderator s". Gotta love loungers that generalize! See, now that's funny. Please forgive me.

Nope, you do not use one of these when trying to be funny. OKkkkk please outline the definition of each for me, cause I must have missed that day at smilie face school. 8) Not all of us go full blown with the smilies like you do. I only use the ones we have quickly available. On this forum, with it's limited choices, this one is the closest we have to roll eyes. = Roll eyes, what ever, give me a break, clueless (or something along those lines) Now you've had your lesson for the day Nick.

I always thought of the as more of a mischievous grin/smirk than eye rolling.

I have instant access to 30 unique smilie faces on this forum, available in the dropdown. That one looks like a snicker snicker to me,,,,,,,,so now please define the rest of them for me, since your in a teaching mood! , heres the first ten.

Half way through the Hitchcock thriller Frenzy. My daughter and I are enjoying it, a rough rape scene, occasional nudity which was part of the story so far as I could see it, and moments of classic Hitchcock. Will be interesting to watch the last half!

Your right, I didn't enjoy it every bit as the first two films. It sucked. Gotta love a forum when even the moderators don't read what was said completely (or ignore it), take things out of context, then revert to "smartassism" for a reply. It's called sarcasm and yes I couldn't find a "rolling of the eyes" emoticon so I used what I thought would get my point across. Your statement "but it was certainly not "every bit as good as the first two films."" is stated as factual, when it is anything but factual in a generalizing sense. To you, it obviously wasn't "every bit as good as the first two films, to me, it was. As for taking things out of context, I've already covered that in the last two sentences. If I've taken your words out of context, I apologize, but I don't know how I could have taken a factual statement out of context when you quoted my post which is obviously subjective, especially when I say "I thought", and not "it obviously" as it isn't obvious to me.

I love sarcasm, it's my main type of humor. A rolling the eyes emoticon is not for sarcasm, it's a negative slam. But, why no one in the world has made a definitive sarcasm emoticon or emogie or smilie by now is beyond me. It's so obviously needed, as failing to understand sarcasm in the written world causes more arguments than almost all other things. But, for the record, the best way I've tackled it is to use 2 in sequence, to indicate a wink like "ya know wink wink" followed by a big smile, or laugh. It usually works. Or if you want pure protection, write out the word sarcasm. Bonzo is always 100% right! lcseminole is always 100% wrong! (sarcasm) And another one of those stupid forum things and pathetic society today at large things, that if you don't say IMO or IMHO with everything you say, everyone seems to think you are telling them fact. Like if I say "the color blue looks best", I'd get slammed. But if I say "IMO the color blue looks best", then I'm fine. What are all of us, news reporters? High level scientists? What happened to general opinions? So many people today don't like others to have opinions. It's truly sad how far society has digressed in some areas. But that's another topic. Back on topic a bit, if we were to assign scores of 1 - 10 to the 3 newest Star Treks, mine would look like this. I certainly do not find them all equally as good, IMO. #1 = 9 #2 = 8 #3 = 7 If you'll recall I gave the new Star Wars a 6.5, so I still like this new Star Trek better. Why? Because it is. Because I'm always 100% right, and 100% right = fact.

Are you always lying? And just this time you're being H (honest) ? Whats up with that? Wheres the shrug emoticon? I should step down now! Honestly!

Does the first ten minutes of Taylor Vixen's "Sorority House Rules" count?

For those interested in watching "The Two Jakes", you really should watch "Chinatown" first.

For those interested in watching "The Two Jakes", you really should watch "Chinatown" first. For sure. I don't think I would have "gotten" Two Jakes if I hadn't seen Chinatown a few times.
