“Be Cool” - A real oldie. Normally, I’m not a fan of John Revolta, but this movie was quirky and funny enough to keep me entertained.

Last night, I rewatched an oldie but goodie, “Three Days of the Condor” with Robert Redford, Faye Dunaway, and Dino Narizzano. I saw this when it first came out, but was too young at the time to appreciate Dunaway’s portrait of a damaged young lady. I later saw echoes of Dunaway’s performance in another movie, “ Y Tu, Mama, Tambien.” For anyone who missed the Condor movie, I recommend it. The ending is particularly poignant, and on several levels.

Saw Part 2 the other night and I'm kinda disappointed with both... imaging appeared very soft / blurry at times and the story line was weak. Zack totally missed the mark and his artistic video presentation left me wanting more ... if they make a Part 3 I can only hope he uses traditional lenses and can somehow reprocess Parts 1 & 2.

“2010 The year we make contact” looking at the cast, and after all these years, I never knew until now that Helen Mirren was in this film between the hair and the make up never would I have guessed that was her. I like this film and have a DVD copy, which is just awful, the Blu-ray review for the latest restoration was very good compared to what I have but I don’t care for this flick enough to invest in it. Anyway, no matter how much it sucks every couple years I pull it out and watch.

Always fun revisiting this flick ”Oblivion” Very visually gorgeous film to watch; the bigger the screen the better.

"The Lincoln Lawyer" - I've seen it before but enjoyed it again!
Next, I plan to watch "The Queen's Gambit"

A few weeks ago, I managed to get a Blu-ray copy of Jeff Goldblum‘s 1986 the fly remake and we’re going to revisit that tonight. While looking for an image to post here, I just found out that there is yet another remake in the works. The story was from 2023…… I guess we’ll see.
