I think that's the hidden supply of UMC-1's, awaiting certification by Dolby + delivery. I can't believe I didn't see that and look behind the wizard's curtain!

Thanks to all the Emo staff for putting on a great event. My wife and I had a good time. The bands were great. ZigZag was really good but could have used a little more Cow Bell. I'm from "America's Dairyland". I can send you all the cow bells you want.  Wisconsin,eh? Have you ever been to Rock-Fest in Cadott? The wife and I were there in '99 and we had a blast. Thanks for everyone's pics and comments...wish I could've been there. |

I've been to Franklin, hence Emotiva, 3 times now and you have made me feel like royalty each time. You outdid yourselves this past weekend though. I've been back home two days now and still don't know how to properly say thank you for the great time you showed me and more than 200 others!  Thnak you Big Dan and all the rest of you down to the lowest worker you have there. If you have a repeat next year you can count on me being there! Now get your A$#& in gear and get us some NEW gear out so I can make some other purchases. I need a pre/pro, sub-woofers, cables, and power distribution. Maybe even an XSP-1 and the XPR-7! Holy Cow!!! I just got off the phone with my friend Jamie, The Grand Prize winner, we had a gentlemen's agreement that if one of us won, we would split up the gear. Well, guess who is getting the 1st UMC-1? That's right, yours truly will be the recipient of Emotiva's finest processor to date. I am so freaked out! I didn't know who else to tell, but I thought I would share this good news with the Emo faithful. I am so excited to get this baby hooked up with my XPA-2/XPA-3 combo. On the down side, I will probably have to replace my XPA-2 with 2 XPA-1s; after hearing them at the fest, they truly are a thing of beauty. Thanks again Emotiva!

Hello all. New to the boards. Orange5814 is my cousin. He has restoaked my fire. I had almost let go of the notion of a high end HT. A wife and 3 kids had put it all on the back burner. Anyway, I was blown away with Emotiva and the people at Emofest. I too am now a convert. As per our agreement I am putting a pair of the ERD-1's on my back wall, I had nothing. Once Orange5814 aquires the UMC-1 I will be the proud owner of his Onkyo TX-SR805, a major upgrade from my Yamaha RX-V870. Splitting this grand prize 3 ways works out well. 2 new customers as Jamie and I will need new gear to upgrade and compliment the gear we split. I will surely be looking to replace my Klipsch 2.2's and Polk center (yes I know they are mismatched) with Emo's across the front. Now after hearing them at Emofest I've got a tough decision to go with the 6.2's or 6.3's. I'm going to have to fly down to TN and sample them again.

ah crap....That *bleep* waitress added an extra $10 to my bill at the bunganut pig....GRRRR
Its not like i didnt tip her either, i gave her 20%...to bad i did not keep that receipt otherwise they would be getting a call...
