That is great news Roadrunner Is that the TT behind Lonnie's head in the video review of the ERC-3? No, it's not. That's the TT~1 that was built by Aluminati Sound / Matt Kramer [sic]. I imagine there is a pic of a prototype TT in the Emofest pics somewhere..

Yes, that's definitely a Clearaudio. Looks like a hybrid of a Concept deck, Satisfy tonearm and a polymer platter. I'd like to hear this.

Yes, that's definitely a Clearaudio. Looks like a hybrid of a Concept deck, Satisfy tonearm and a polymer platter. I'd like to hear this. At Emofest a price had not yet been determined because they were undecided as to which cartridge they would bundle with it. The Emo tech said that they were comparing several different cartridges at that time. When I tried to push for his "best guess" on availability he said possibly second quarter of 2014. I have not heard anything since then. I think that if the price is right it should be a very popular addition to Emotiva's product line. Since the decision of which cartridge will be bundled is undecided there was no estimate on the price for the Emotiva TT.

It should be offered with and without cartridge A lot of us have a cartridge preference anyway

The Emo tech said that they were comparing several different cartridges at that time. That looks like a black version of the Concept MM on there. It's a nice sounding cartridge but I think I'd prefer to have the choice. Benz Micro cartridges are a great combination on Clearaudio turntables and I can't see any reason they'd be any less good on the Emotiva version.

I would not be surprised if we see a dramatic departure from the Emofest prototype. In the most recent podcast, they said it would be CNC milled. Anyone talk to Matt lately?

First it needs to be offered, lets get that far first PLEASE. Nick Yes but it is so cool to have an open forum on this topic Imagine a top end turntable and arm at a price that everyone can afford?! Emotiva does just that with their gobsmacking amps Who better to give all us licorice spinners a leg up on super sound?

I agree Yves Maybe it can be offered as a three part build
Much like a pre and two mono blocks
Emotiva TT ( for the purist) Emotiva TT and arm ( for those who have a good cartridge but feel they can do better with a higher quality TT ( like me) Full kit with a cracker high output MC like a Dynavector or Ortofon ( for those wanting to taste or relaunch into vinyl from ground zero)
Both Emotiva stereo preamps offer phonograph inputs so this last option is almost plug and play

Don't know if I am too late to this party, but the one thing I would LOVE to see is linear tracking. After being exposed to them 30 years ago, I have had nothing else since.

Some of us have two amps, some of us have two CD players........
Two record decks ? Cant be that bad
Sound with different carts and arms would be totally different and with the Emo pre pre amp no problems to go into the Aux inputs Pretty cool.........

Any updates on this. I bought the Emotiva Phono Pre-Amp and it brought new life into a very OLD record player. Got the bug for more. I would love to see more info on the Turntable (esp. price range). I for one would be looking at getting the full package, Turntable, Arm, and Cart. I just want something better than my ancient Hitachi direct drive. I have been looking into Pro-Ject and Music Hall stuff, but waiting as Emotiva has consistently gotten the best bang for the buck on all things audio.
