Some have already noticed that there is no line out to daisy chain with out subs...but we will be offering a stand along device for this as well.

Also, a reminder here to those who may have missed it. These subs (Ultra) are the first in a line of new speakers due in 2010. There will be two different tower setups, a center, surrounds, and two different bookshelf models. These will all be full-range speakers, ported, in either black ash (as seen with the subs here), or cherry veneers. The subs will also be available in cherry. Vance Dickason has been involved with these new speakers, and they are great sounding, and an amazing value (think a set of towers for under a grand, a set of bookshelves for under $400). Does anyone know why the new speaker line will be a ported design? Everything Emotiva has made so far are sealed design. It also looks like these the new subs will still be sealed. As long as they sound good is all that matters. |

What about the other subs? The more expensive ones? Not that I want to pay more but just not sure if this would really be worth going to from the one I have

Damn if Emotiva is thinking of making dual 10" towers I will definitely have to upgrade my Klipsch KG5.5`s to them , *&^% just when I thought I was almost done upgrading after I get the XMC and ERC you hint on bigger towers sheeeeeeeesssss

I hate Dann!!! ;D Here I am in the equivilent of a mid-life crisis in trying to make the right decision in my Emotiva speaker choices... and Dann has to go dump out the idea of yet bigger Ref ERT.  Geesh now what do I do.... ps. I really don't hate you Dann... but what the heck... all this Improvement stuff. 1st I find out that Blue tape is better then yellow tape, then that there is Quiet Velcro, now potentially better ERTs coming "down the pike". My life is a mess!!!  |
