It must be nice to be able to go to a rental store. I have none around me. They all went out of business bc of netflix. I can't get netflix bc my house is new and the address isn't in their database as deliverable.

It must be nice to be able to go to a rental store. I have none around me. They all went out of business bc of netflix. I can't get netflix bc my house is new and the address isn't in their database as deliverable. Yes it is very nice. And it is only a mile from where I live, so I always go on my bike for the fresh air. Plus I am a special member there, so I got to see what I want when I want; I just got to call and make a reservation for any Blu-ray I wish for (newest releases). I rent up to a dozen per month depending of the releases of the month. And the manager there even give me some free rentals occasionally (Blu-rays). ...Like yesterday for example, he gave me a free rental on the Blu-ray of "Legion". But after watching it last night I did not like that movie! The Audio & Video were great, but the the movie itself is pretty lame with some bad lines. Anyhow, that's the way it goes sometimes... *** Tonight I'll be watching "Daybreakers" on Blu.

I watched "Love The Beast" last night. Not the BD, just a NF stream. If you're a car guy, you have to watch this movie! It's about the actor Eric Bana, and his Ford Falcon XB muscle car that's he had since his was like 17. It's even got Jeremy Clarkson, Jay Leno, and Dr. Phil in the movie lol. It's a wonderful story about him, his friends and the car that he's grown to love so much, and is unable to part with. Eric Bana seems like a really cool guy, and it doesn't seem like Hollywood has gotten to him at all.

I totally agree about Legion. I loved some of the visuals and audio but man the story just seemed like the wrote it in a night. They could have gone so much deeper into Religious "mythology" for lack of a better word and got better actors. What a waste. How was the audio durring the fight with Gabriel?

How was the audio durring the fight with Gabriel? Well you know, Hollywood fare! Nothing realistic about that duh! Just the usual prefabricated "Kaboum" from the studio, loud and well... you know! ...Chest pumping stuff, the usual fireworks!

Last night: "Daybreakers". ...It was OK, nothing exceptional though. I did like the musical score and the sci-fi aspect of it.

Last night I just watched the "Making Of Daybreakers" Feature-Length Documentary, from the film co-directed by the two young brothers, Peter and Michael Spierig. I also watched the Director's Short Film "The Big Picture". These Special Features are simply fascinating as they tell you all about the film's process right from the very beginning, years ago. Plus some great feedbacks from the actors themselves. And all the director's travels to various places (they're from Australia), to get their film made by a good team of people from all background's avenues. It was very educational and rewarding. Highly recommended. ...Makes me appreciate this film even more. I'll probably rewatch it tonight.

Last night I did rewatch "Daybreakers". ...And I did enjoy it, even more this 2nd time around. These Spierig brothers have a lot of potential, I'll keep an eye open on them! * And I also heard that there will be more "Daybreakers" sequels to come...

Not doing so well on blu rentals lately (though my local blockbuster almost always has what I want on blu).
My last two were:
Princess and the Frog (not bad... just I dunno... kinda meh)
Legion (already discussed, I agree with all the comments so far).
On the positive side saw "How to Train your Dragon" in the theater and loved it.

Last night: *** Fantastic Audio soundtrack (Dolby TrueHD)! Your surround sound system is open full throttle! ;D And I did enjoy it too for the sci-fi genre, video quality, and final twist. I recommend it for people that appreciate a great audio effect soundtrack and with a taste for sci-fi movies with a twist. And I don't care too much about what other reviewers said. Me, I'm buying the Blu-ray disc to add it in my collection.

Yes, I try to watch one Blu-ray movie every single day. But sometimes it does happen that I'm away from home or partying with friends, so...
