Hi Doug, I saw "District 9" few times already, and in my honest opinion it sucks!  * Now what's real funny is that so many reviewers rave about it! It just tell you that taste are truly different and that some people don't have a personal opinion to start with! It is a strange world sometimes this world we live in, and some people are in desperate need of a real education about true values of life! LOL..I thought D9 was awesome. I could care less about the movies social/political commentary. But the scene where they break into the lab and the extended fight scene with the alien mech-armor were phenominal and sounded spectacular. |

First in English so I can concentrate on the picture...then with subtitles. Once I have the story and dialog, I go with subtitles to see it from its original perspective. Besides, Swedish is cool...my favorite candy is Swedish fish!  Swedish is awesome Watched all those movies aswell. Though it was the swedish versions, don't know what or how much they have changed. But they are all excellent  |

 * A better film (great sound effects, and better picture quality); but still, another subject with a bunch of crap! ... Abduction by Aliens (the 4th kind) into spaceships that disappear into space, right! - And those original videos that go all distorted when people are starting to lift up!!! Ya right! It amazes me what people nowadays will do to try to make a buck! ...No wonder that most people involved in this didn't participate in the making of that film; another full bunch of BS crap! Who in their sane (or insane) minds wants to be associate with this hocus-pocus trash? It even makes you question the actors involved! Sooo, what do you guys think on that one? ;D ...And be totally frank now! Advertising publicity for travel agencies to visit Alaska? ...Abductions by Aliens, Oil spill, ...  ...Maybe this film was financed by Exxon Mobil Corporation?  |

A great flick, recommended viewing for sure. Impeccable picture quality.  The sound is great too. Anyway I liked it strongly enough that I purchased it. A film made for adults. |
