Is that DTS-HD MA, Bob? I hope you like the SQ of it, because I would love to get that one if it's worthy. Yes Pauly, it has DTS-HD MA recorded at 96 kHz!  (And not at 48 kHz like the vast majority of BDs.) * And I don't have to tell you that it is excellent as all the DVD reviews are right there on top!  For me, it's a no-brainer! Because I already know that the High Res Audio & Picture will be even better than the DVD version, duh!  |

"Horton Hears a Who" today for my daughter. Well ok, I liked it too lol. It actually has some killer low bass at times. Not to mention a great moral.

Ninja stuff, but with great Video quality, and dynamic Audio soundtrack! ____________________________ And:  _ ^ Filmed around Emotiva's surroundings, and with a very emotional and touching subject. ...Even more so to me as my brother's first wife died right when he was holding her hand and after he just said those three last words to her: "I love you". That was at the hospital. Betty (her name) died of leukemia, at the age of 27. She was from Texas. And she was the sweetest thing of this natural planet! |

Just finished watching "Law Abiding Citizen" and the "Taking of Pelham 123" in my 7.1 Channel Surround Sound System. Excellent Action movies!! Highly Recommended!!!

Just finished watching "Law Abiding Citizen" and the "Taking of Pelham 123" in my 7.1 Channel Surround Sound System. Excellent Action movies!! Highly Recommended!!! I did rewatched "Law ..." about three weeks ago. Just luv it! ...I do also have the BD of "The taking ...", but I still prefer "Law ...". |

Bob, you are right. I love both movies but I do prefer Law Abiding Citizen. I think Gerard Butler did an outstanding performance in that movie.
In "300" he was also very good.
You know that I came to know who Gerard Butler was when my daughter asked me to buy her the movie " The Phantom Of The Opera" in blue ray and then I sat down with her to watch it.
Ever since that day I have love that movie as well. I think I have watched that movie again around 6 times with my daughter.
He is a very good actor.

Well, I got a few more BLu rays. Iron Man 2(the story and plot SUCKED)which I was really dissapointed in.
And I picked up Alien Anthology. All I can say to that was WOW, looked and sounded absolutely fantastic, just as scary as ever too. Saw it on the new HT system thats was bought basically for the kids in their rec. room.

 * Last night around midnight (or more like 12:50) I lost power here due to a snowstorm (6 inches), and it lasted 15 hours. Soooo, I watched this on my portable player (battery operated). But I didn't enjoy it that much; just way too slow and quite boring!  ** Was 53 degree Celsius just an hour ago in my home (now it's 59). We just regain power then. I am fully winter clothed in front of my computer typing these words. My neighbor, Sandra, brought me some hot soup earlier today, in a thermos. She's very nice! |

I slept in tents with temperatures way below the freezing point! And I worked during killer bilzzards! ...And I kid you not! I played with death during my entire life mister!
