I can't belive that they go to the trouble of updating each person's account individually, but they won't respond to the OEM to get the correct codes in the database. What the heck?!?

I FINALLY got an e-mail from Logitech saying that my codes have been uploaded. Yippee, I'll give them a try tonight.

Success!!!
After screwing around via email with Logitech (by following the instructions previously stated), I decided to give them a call like it was a new incident.
866-291-1505
I talked to Level 1 support (by default) and politely told them "I need the correct hex codes added into my user database". They then forwarded me to Level 2 support.
I then talked to Level 2 support, which was very helpful. She held me on the line while she added the codes. I then checked my Harmony software and noted that the updated codes were now in there... but that the "Tuner" code was missing. That was the only one for me that stood out as missing. She then found it in a different set of codes that Logitech has. She then promptly added them.
So Logitech does have all of the codes, but not in the master database. I asked her why they just didn't add them to the master and she said that too many codes could mess things up for some users (paraphrasing). She said that if more users call up, they will then add them to the master database.
I am well out of the 90 day support period w/ my 890 and the $29 charge was never mentioned. IMO, it should be free anyways, since it's not really a support issue.
So the moral of the story... CALL LOGITECH and get them added for free!
Thanks.
Nick

Yep it works perfect, just follow instructions per post 122. They did the upgrade while I waited online. When you first call pick number 2 and go.
Thanks

Thanks So in other words, you just call and tell them it is about the Emotiva UMC-1 and they already have the codes on hand to load into your account? Or do you need to send them the document that has the codes on it first?

Yup, I offered to send them but she said there was no need as they already have them....however, upon them loading them, make sure they load them ALL. Like I said, I was missing the "Tuner" command and a few others after they loaded the codes the first time.

As with my usual luck I'm getting the royal screw job from Logitech . I emailed a week ago and nothing, then seeing everyone's luck calling today I tried and am on my third call. First they disconnected me "while transferring me to level 2", then they gave me a special level 2 direct number to which it would not allow me to use my code without payment. And now, third call, she said I need to pay then I ask to talk with a supervisor and she came back and she said she would put me through, to what I still don't know as I'm still on hold .

I'm sorry, but I still don't get it.
Since there isn't an HDMI 1, 2 or 3 hex code, how do I get the Harmony remote to select HDMI 1, 2 or 3?

You set the HDMI to Cable, DVD, Aux1, Aux2, etc. and have the remote select Cable, DVD, Aux1, or Aux2

I still don't get it.
Here is how I have my inputs on the UMC-1
Tuner PS 3 - HDMI 1 Trigger on Cable TV - HDMI 3 Trigger off Cable TV w/amp - HDMI 3 Trigger on Samsung Blu-ray player - HDMI 2 Trigger on
I can get the Harmony 1 to go to Cable TV and my PS 3 just fine, but when I try to go to my Cable with amp setup, it just goes back to the Cable TV input, so my amp doesn't get triggered.
And when I try to go to the Samsung BD player it goes to Cable w/amp.
I'm completely confused.

I called the number willan58 gave in post #122 and followed his instructions. Everything went fine with no drama. The phone call did last over an hour though. There was about a 10 minute wait to get to tier 2. Then the person put the codes in my database and had me download the codes into my harmony 890. Then she had me go to my system and we went through every input to make sure everything was working perfectly. Then she asked me how I wanted everything arranged on the remote. I had her put dolby volume and the volume trim controls on page one when I go to my directv input. She also explained how to arrange things on my own. I think she liked me. There was no talk of money.
