It's halfway to October already and no news. Antsy isn't quite the right word. I wish we could just preorder now, what's the harm in that.

I have to admit it is getting a little frustrating for us that couldn't make Emofest. It has been two weeks now and no official word from them on any of the new products. I was hoping they would have made some updates by now.

Anybody else confirm that...........

The pre order list said "shipping 11/1/2010" at the top of the sheet. I also signed up on the pre-order list while I was at Emofest.

Getting kind of tired of hearing that the pre-order took place at emofest and the rest of us are out of luck, for the moment. they should be able to add names to a list without too much trouble.

It's obvious they don't have a problem taking some names for the XDA (and even the XSP and XMC if memory serves). Open up the list for the rest of us. Mark.

The Emofest exclusivity offers have definitely knocked my affinity for Emotiva products down a few notches.
I would love to go to Emofest, but we're talking about $400+ for airfare and a room, or multiple days driving each way for me.

Yep, I'm ready to buy as well and, have been for a long time. I want the XSP 1 as well but, if they don't want to add my name to the list then I can look else where ( Parasound 2100). Due to circumstances beyond my control I was unable to attend this year .Talk about frustration.

I estimate A$3000 just to get there and back. Kind of spoils any discount that may be offered at Emofest. I don't expect a discount but an opportunity to sign up on the same pre-order list during the week after Emofest would be appreciated. Dave.

Anyone want to confirm this discount for us unlucky enough not to be able to attend? Talk about discrimination. Of course any one that attended won't agree but, their entitled to their opinion. Really, discrimination? Lol. I mean I am waiting just like you are, but it will come eventually. I do hope they give a special intro price (I think I saw that they will), when the product is launched. Emofest is a special event, I think it's perfectly fine for a company to offer 'perks' like that for attendees. The fact that all of us missed out, well thats just the way it goes. Life isn't fair If you are near Colorado, try attending the RMAF this Oct. Emotiva is supposed to be here and if it is like it was last year, they will offer discounts on some of their products.

Special pricing is fair for attendees and, it is what it is. I just want an opportunity to get a slot on the the preorder list. We've all been patiently awaiting the list to open , that's all. I live in FL so, Colorado isn't in my plans. As far as the, Life isn't fair comment, besides being blatantly obvious, what a nice addition, NOT!

Thats what my dad used to tell me when I was mad about something. I hear you though, I really want this DAC too, and I patiently wait. I am frustrated as well to be honest. Thats cool you are a Rad Tech. I work in Radiology in a hospital as a support person. I thought about going to xray school, but I'm not sure. I definitely would though for the extra pay, that way I can fund my audio obsessions!

Emo/all you guys are my friends and, I feel an explanation is in order. The circumstances weren't Emo's fault and, my frustration has to do with more then the pre order list. I was all set to attend Emofest this year, had my room booked and, the week prior to the event the transmission in my truck went out dashing my plans to attend. So, not only did I miss out on meeting all my Emotiva forum buddies, staff and, specials but, the repair cost on the truck were alot. Needless to say, I'm still upset with what happened and, I over reacted with my post, sorry. So, that is why the "Life isn't fair" comment rubbed me the wrong way. I certainly can relate to it right now. I am truly a fan of Emotiva because of their product quality, price and, customer service. Easily the best I've ever received from any company. On a side note, I love being a Rad Tech and, soon I will add CT. School was tough yet, so rewarding and, I will continue as long as I can afford too. Now back to the topic , Emo sign me up! ;D

Doug Hey Y'all, We know it is a BIG deal for customers to come down for Emofest and we are humbled by the enthusiasm for our company, products and the event. This is why we make it a great family day with music, great food and lots of stuff for kids. We know how difficult it is for everyone to come so we have specials as our way of saying thank you for making the trip. Hope to see you here next year. Alison Brown and her quartet are fantastic live and they want to return in 2011! Sincerely Cathy Laufman
