Have had it for about a week now. It replaced the 4810 in my system and I am very very impressed with it so far. If you are not a fan of audyssey look elsewhere becasue this unit has the newer xt32 that will eq dual subs as well as the increased filter resolution. It seems a lot of people here don't care much for audyssey or any other type of room correction (except for bill), and this is the units main strength over the 3311. The remotes suck bad but I use a Harmony so I could care less.

So why isn't D$M building one without the amps for $999? Oh yeah, they want you to buy the AV7005 for $500 more instead. $1500 street from an authorized dealer? Gray market, sure but don't you want a real warranty?

The $1500 SHIPPED to your door price has been available from SEVERAL online AUTHORIZED dealers for a few weeks before it even came out. Some of us (wink wink) paid even less than that. So we do get a " real warranty"!

Excuse me Bob but I am a big Audyssey's fan myself and I clearly indicated that at several reprises in the past. And there are several more people as well right here at the Lounge. Besides, why do you think I started this thread about this very special receiver? Cheers, Bob

Go to AVS Forum (Denon AVR-4311CI official thread), and you will see that people paid less than $1,500 for this receiver, and right from the very beginning (even before they were available!), and from a Denon authorized dealer. Denon AVR-4311CI / AVR-A100 A/V Receiver Official Thread: -> @ www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1274153Just Google "All Denon Authorized Dealers", and start calling around (by phone). ...You already have that link. Just to name one for example: Electronics-Expo (EE). Another one is World Wide Stereo. Even AVS is an authorized DENON dealer. * It is not my practice to post innacurate informations. When not sure, I don't even mention it. Regards, Bob

Regards, Bob Bob, My audyssey comment was not directed at you in general, but it seems a lot more folks on this board do not care for audyssey or any room correction for that matter. Just my observation, I could be misreading. Also, can you pm me the place that has the avr-a100 for $1875? That is a good price and the best I have been able to find has been $2K. Appreciate you answering audionut for me. Thanks!

I was not a fan of Audyssey until I tested and purchased the 3311ci. XT does an excellent job in my treated room. I would imagine XT32 may be even better in this unit.

Second, I know exactly what you meant; I just wanna make sure that we're on the same team, as well several more people. * Now for that price on the AVR-A100, just go to the last page from the Official Thread of the AVR-4311CI at AVS Forum. If your planning on using the external amps, I'm not sure this offers too much more over the 3311ci. There are differences of course but I'd love to try both out and see for myself. I can't help but want to upgrade my 3311 though lol

I can't help but want to upgrade my 3311 though lol Well, Audyssey MultEQ XT32 and Audyssey Sub EQ HT multiple subwoofer calibration with separate Dual Sub Pre-Outs and Preamp mode and 11.2-channel simultaneously playing all together are some big (make that HUGE) improvements in my book. And not to mention the VRS ABT-2015 video processor, plus AL24+ (Advanced for all channels), plus two separate Analog Devices Sharc DSPs (AD21367 & AD21487), plus the Asahi Kasei Microsystems Co., AKM DAC (AK4358B) and AKM ADC (AK5358VQ), HDCD decoder, and all that stuff it can stream from the Internet... Plus upgradeable firmware updates, two USB ports, etc., etc., etc... The way I see it, forget about the amp section, just look at the preamp section to use as a dedicated pre/pro, and for a very reasonable price of less than $1,500 (right now), and eventually more likely to hit $1,200 or even less!; you got a state-of-the-art latest technology electronic component.

I got mine ( well pre order) for 1500 from an authorized deal..And I can't wait to have it in hand, this is the closest you'll get a preamp ( signing off the amp section feature) from Denon sub 2K.....I'm psyched.
