I'm just mad that they discontinued the Emotiva coffee mugs that I saw pictures of somewhere online! When I'm surfing the Emo forums in the morning while drinking coffee out of my Soref's Carpet City mug I cry a little bit on the inside! Based on the increase in sound quality that my XPA-2 made in my system, I could only imagine what an Emo coffee mug could do for my morning coffee! Keep up the good work Emotiva, I look forward to doing more business with you in 2011!

I called to order a UPA-7 today and I was told that not only are they sold out, but they are now discontinued!!! I'm very suprised to hear this. I was told by the girl that there would be a new product line out in the spring to summer, and that I could still order the XPA series...but the UPA series was DONE. DAMN!!! Happy New Year to y'all! Just a quick note to clear the confusion. The UPA-5 is discontinued. The UPA-7 will be back in stock late January. All of the other U series products are in stock and shipping! Have a great day and we wish you the best in 2011! I'm sorry to argue here, but that's NOT what you told me on the phone. You said there was 1 more shipment of UPA-7's coming in Feb...then that was it.

Hi Lonnie,
I think the crux of that comment was that Cathy had apparently told Rocketboy that the UPA-7 would then be discontinued (after the next batch), so is this that the case or will more of those be coming in during the year?
Cheers!

There's just no pleasing everyone, but it is what it is. But it's all right now, I learned my lesson well. You see, ya can't please everyone, so ya got to please yourself.

See, no-one need hit panic buttons. It's just products being replaced with newer designs etc, so rather tahn dooma nd gloom it looks like exciting times ahead. It should indicate that these new items we've been hearing tip bits about are indeed getting closer to release.
All makes sense and falls in-line with what the team at Emotiva have been saying all along pretty much if you think about it.
And to Chuckienut, mate you just keep pleasing yourself (don't go blind lol) as theres no need to walk on eggshells. Some people are just a little over-sensitive and/or different but heck I think thats a positive thing as it makes life more interesting. Just be yourself, I have read many of your posts and find them either quite informative/helpful or funny and stress releving.
It can be hard to imply ones intent all the time on forums with just typed words and letters on the screen and depending on another persons mood or they way they read something can lead towards a different comprehension of whats said. I didn't see anything as wrong or mean about your jestful posts but then we all see, hear and taste differently.
IMHO folks " It's all good" and people need to relax more, the worlds so fast paced and up-tight these days. WE ALL need to sit back to our fav sounds or movies with our nice Emo gear and a fine red wine and chill more often hehehe

. . . so ya got to please yourself. I work on a need to know basis, and I don't need to know what you're doing while surfing at 2 a.m. my time .

The UPA-1 and UPA-2 amplifiers will continue, but the UPA-5 and UPA-7 will be discontinued The XPR-5 and XPR-7 will be released early spring and the XPR-1 and XPR-2 will be released early summer Maveric Interesting news, those new amps are sure to be quite the beasts... Bit too much for me, though. By the way, I found these specs on the new XPR amps: XPR-7: 350 watts RMS @ 8 ohms per channel, all channels driven 600 watts RMS @ 4 ohms per channel, all channels driven. Projected price $1999.00
XPR-5: 400 watts RMS @ 8 ohms per channel, all channels driven 800 watts RMS @ 4 ohms per channel, all channels driven. Projected price $1699.00
XPR-2: 600 watts RMS @ 8 ohms per channel, all channels driven 1200 watts RMS @ 4 ohms per channel, all channels driven. Projected price $1499.00
XPR-1:1000 watts RMS @ 8 ohms per channel, all channels driven 2000 watts RMS @ 4 ohms per channel, all channels. Projected price $1299.0No idea if that's accurate, but my god... 2kW at 4 ohms for that kinda money? Original post here: www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=20054910#post20054910Also, this is my first post on here, and it won't be my last! Saving up for my own Emo gear right now, which will probably be 2 UPA-1s paired with an UPA-2 for rears and an UMC-1 or XMC-1 (yes, running phantom center).
