Even the ones that cost a cool million or two? ...Just for a stereo pair! ...Amplification is included though.

its amazing how a pair of speakers so out of reach for most of us can make us like a kid in a candy store, and now a guess you can put a price on sound, and its around 400,000,,oh well maybe in my next lifetime,,lol

just saw a pair on the audiogon site for 20,000,older mbl 101e,but dam they are the coolest thing too look at,and the sound is incrediable!! I wonder if this is the original packaging. My Emo 6.2 had cloth bags and not kitchen saran wrap. Lol I went on Agon last night too, and yeah that price is a bargain for these.. They played some Rush, don't recall the song but it was AWESOME! TRUE to life sound. The other speakers that left an impact in my life were some Dynaudio Evidence Master, the sound was in my head it was beautiful. Dan

I'm talking about a MANSION! ...Not a pair of MBL loudspeakers!
* With a pair of MBL-101-X TREMEs; the MANSION should come with it, as a package deal! ;D ...You know, live 'Avatar' BD 3D with a Panny Plasma 3D TV!

O'k1 o'k, Enough syruppy talk about those MBL 101s. Snap out of your damn dreams a come to reality. I don't think that Emo is going to make anything soon to match them. And, even at Emo's bargain basement prices, I still would not be able to afford them. With my severe upgraditis, I know that I would be looking for something else in 2-3 years.
Let us talk about family business. Let us all hear what you heard about the Emo components that were no shows. Like the XMC-1, XPR-7, ERS 212, phono pre amp, future UMC-1 updates, etc. Don't be afraid to repeat what someone else posted. Just want to hear it all.

How can you hear somethin' (with your ears) if there is nothing to produce sound? And stop getting those black panty hose so tight on you! ;D P.S. Ever thought of trying some pink ones?

Last night, after I got back from the show, I did some critical listening on my OBs, while the memory of listening to various speakers was still fresh. With the exception of the MBLs, which are in a league of their own, my OBs are easily better than all the high priced speakers that I heard. I don't mean to sound arrogant but I'm so thrilled with this revelation that I had to share this with all my Emo buddies. Whom else can I share this with? Having listened to most of the offerings at Axpona, and hearing your speakers personally, I would tend to agree. I did the same thing, and decided I'm still happy with my home made speakers. However, I did have some speakers that stood out in my head. Legacy, MBL, and Linkwitz Riley. And to the poster that asked if that was Linkwitz himself, the answer is yes!! I spent nearly 30 minutes in a private conversation with Nick, Zigfried, and myself. I also spent a good deal of time in discussions with Lonnie, Cathy, and Big Dan.... who by the way, is not much bigger than me, so I just called him Dan!!

I attended on Fri and enjoyed the show. Naturally there was a lot of good looking and nice sounding gear (room acoustics could have been better). I belong to the CAS audio club and it was gratifying to hear some members say that they were impressed with the Emo gear. These people have a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience. Enjoyed chatting with Lonnie and the others. Now to start saving for my UMC-1 and ERC-2. Donations will gladly be accepted. Regards, Ron526

I wasn't that impress with the Kef speakers at all, perhaps it was the amplification, but the again it was Class A Pass Mono amps 100 wpc a piece. I knew a few guys back a year or two who praised those same speaker Ref 203.2? Thinking back I wish I would have said something, as he is a living legend, and quite the genius, not that I'm qualified to call anyone the G word, but he sure is one..He look so inviting and with a warm smile. I missed the boat on that one Dan
