Hi, Are these confirmed as multi voltage for overseas buyers? Let's hope there is a 15" driver version......yummy!!!! +1000!! ...Had been waiting ages for a 230V Ultra to be released. But now that the X-ref is out, I'll be hoping for 230V on that instead DSP and bigger power is a real nice addition. I'm wanting two for a 'Floyd Toole/Todd Welti' setup ...Although I'm curious if ony two PEQ's is enough??

zstar
There are too many variables not addressed by data available on paper to make an educated guess. This will require actually listening to the subs being considered, but with the DSP system Emotiva had added to its new subs will go a long way in leveling the playing field. The adjustable range of the Q is particularly intriquing.

WOW! I just read an email saying that I am the first person to purchase the x-ref 12... I mean I cant believe that I am the first person on planet earth to have purchased the X-ref 12! Well then you had better be the first person to review it, very soon after it arrives.

Also, does anyone know if the x-ref sub and the ers subs are the same or if the ers sub is better or how that works. If anyone knows please inform me on what the ers subs are supposed to be.
thanks

Have the User's Manuals for the X-Ref subs been finished yet? ...even a work in progress manual to get a better idea on how to use the EQ and Q user settings? A PDF link would be great. Thanks.

Upon my 'initial' review of the current information provided in support of the X-Ref subs, my feedback is that I'm NOT impressed...
As far as what appears as an EMO marketing strategy, IMO, the 3 lines of good, better, and best is unnecessary product redundancy to support a customer mindset of upgraditis and that of corporate greed, which appears to delay the release of other 'promised' flagship products.
I will NOT partake in this sub-offering (pun intended) of 'cheese' that is 'AlMOST', the best sub you offer.
Please bring-on the TRUE reference series of Emo subs; otherwise, I'm jumping the EMO ship for a Rythmik!
I believe that I, and others, will NOT wait forever...
Emo is not the only audio 'show' in town.
Thank-you!
