LOL the gf is pretty much my fiancee and I was goign to use some of her money to help pay for them. but you know what I got 1 more day to decide on those speakers and I just might pull the trigger on them and sleep on the couch a few days with my speakers and amp  lol. If your getting married soon, forget the amps and speakers and focus on the wedding and the honeymoon. |

I had mentioned the audioengine speakers a while back, did you even look at or consider them? In my opinion they sound pretty darn good for the money and they also offer refurbished so you can save some money.

You may have missed what I mentioned about the audioengine you would see that I suggested the non powered speakers the P4 series. Those are not active/powered. I also sent a link to refurbished pairs. Here is the link for the P4 non active speakers audioengineusa.com/Store/Audioengine-P4#.UJo5YHy9KSMYou can also look for refurbished units on the last link I sent. I think they are worth a listen and if you don't like them return within 30 days. |

I wanted to mention that some of the good deals on low cost speakers from Newegg are now gone. Based on Ansat's post I ordered the Studio Monitor 350's and received them yesterday. They are outstanding speakers considering their $200 sale price. They are now $300 a pair. |

The 450s are on sale this week for 280. Not as good as a deal as the 350s buy good none the less.
Also when you order spwakers from newegg you usually get a 40% off select speaker coupon code. Some crazy deals can be had with that. That can be used on multiple speakers but only one transaction.

*bleep* me guys lol. I just bought a pair nht super zero 2.0 for $163 after tax. before I went back to check on my thread lol. do you guys think i should cancel my order and just order the emotiva set up? since i plan on buying that amp now.
