So the SR-8100 Died on me again today, i hear the relay clicking but there is nothing on the display. And after about 5 or 10 seconds it sounds like there is a chopper in the house sounding trough the speakers. Tried to contact on the same mail i did the last time but thats support@sherbourn.com so i guess thats not active anymore.. Ill have a go at emotiva

You have sat stewing on this now for five more days instead of making a phone call? I have customers overseas and when problems arise I call them or they call me. Unless of course you prefer to sit and wait. Big Dan, Kathy and others have already posted in numerous threads how overwhelmed they are at Emotiva right now. They are launching a slew of new product plus they are running a Holiday Sale.

How hard can it be to reply to an e-mail ? But you say they are busy, how long is it gonna take before they answer my call ? Overseas aint free you know. If im waiting for 10 minutes the cost piles up.

E-mail is free ? Come on, little bit of service to reply to an e-mail ? 3 weeks now, they could send something like we are very busy. How many people work there ? five ?

Hey guys...i'm in need of some help with my sr-8100...
I purchased it from another buyer in 2013 and never actually got around to using it...I just took it out this morning and connected it and it seemed fine for the first half hour or so but then the input (apple tv) kept switching on and off...either that or the output to my tv is toggling on and off...is this an HDMI board problem?....i'd hate it to be that cos I never really transferred the warranty from the original owner and don't know if I can do it now (assuming it's still within the 5 year limit)

That's not good. I never got around to sending mine in last year and it just died. Still within the 5 years, but still sucks. Will give them a call tomorrow.

My dog chewed up my remote! I don't want to use a Logitech. Anyone have a remote for sale? If not, anyone want to buy a fully functioning SR-8100 sans remote? lol
