Ask me no questions...then I can tell no lies. A taste of things to come. Super looking units! I am so looking forward to Emotiva putting something like this on the market. Everything I have from this company is AWESOME sounding and AWESOME value! Now if only Emotiva could work out an economical way to ship speakers O/S. FedEx/UPS is pure murder to Downunder for large packages such as speakers Seafreight? Economy air? Very Excited!

Don't bet on that midrange either - It looks as if it's a cloned photo of a woofer, pasted & expanded to cover whatever's really there. I'm hoping it's the new Emotiva MIDRANGE ribbon! Or, as usual, I could be wrong...

Yep, and I've got to resist buying other speakers for three whole MONTHS while I wait for Lonnie's towers. It'll be a New Years resolution: No expensive speakers until Lonnie has his on the market. Now I need to clean out the closets of spare gear so that I'll be able to afford the Emotivas when they're ready.
If Lonnie wants to offer another teaser, I'd vote for him telling us what the midrange driver will be. Cone? Dome? Horn? Ribbon? Enquiring Loungers want to know! LOL

I'd get the Studio 20's. Look at the Emotiva website for current offerings. They sound serious about speakers but the offerings are at best thin. IMO they should have never stopped making the Reference series speakers. JMHO.

The Studio 20's don't come with stands. Not sure if this is necessary for you but it's extra cost. Emotiva might include the stands in their price. Wait are they going to make bookshelves?

IMO they should have never stopped making the Reference series speakers. JMHO. I am seriously considering just trying to find a used pair of 8.3s and seeing if this adds the oomph I am looking for. I am sure the 6.3s make fine surround speakers. They are fantastic HT speakers, I have just outgrown them for 2 channel. No fault to the 6.3s in 2 channel, this is not why I originally purchased them, but it seems as if I will be limited to one system for some time so you gotta make do.
