My response from Janna, regarding this question. Her response indicates it could be done but they don't want to.
As for the bonzo malarkey, we do get free shipping to bozo just to be totally ripped!!

I used borderlinx as it was the one that gave me the best shipping deal (landed cost) at the time.
I don't think there's any better options than using Bongo directly in the Emotiva cart or shopping around for another shipping company that gives you a better price and use the free Emotiva shipping.

Well the ERC-3 is on sale so I had another look at costs. It's $50 off at the moment less 10% e-club. Total cost to my door for an ERC-3 with two separate discounts applied........ $719.96
That's double the cost of the unit itself!!! Emotiva. Bongo is costing you sales.
Edit: I should add I had 2x RCA cables in the order weighing the box down dramatically....

Mmm, I'm happy that people, who are on the reserve list for the XMC-1, the "old" UPS shipping method is being used. I paid $146 for shipping cost to the netherlands (that is of course excluding excluding import tax!).
So if an International customer wants a XMC-1 but is not yet on the reserve list, maybe it might sense to put your name on the reserve list so the " old" UPS Shipping method is being used instead of Bongo...

I just checked an order for two XPA1Ls to Germany with Bongo. Its €1366.84 or $1756,86!!!! That is nearly double the price you guys pay for it in the US. I am very happy with my XDA-2 but Bongo is not making things more attractive for European customers.

I am very happy with my XDA-2 but Bongo is not making things more attractive for European Customers. Is outrage. The only way to make this more affordable is to make combined purchases with other customers in Europe. If somebody is up to the task I would gladly ask the shipping company that works with my company the cost of importing 2 or 3 pallets from Emotiva. Remember that usually we have to pay 3% taxes plus 21% VAT in Spain, as an example. The real cost cutting comes from shipping, which dramatically improves by purchasing big quantities, this means that also the cost of taxes and VAT will be less as both taxes are calculated on price + shipping. In the past I have done this and the costs were much better, but it obviously requieres to put a lot of people in motion, which always is a problem... Best regards !

Question: Is/has any one person from Emotiva taking/taken note of these quite serious criticisms?? Seems to me that there is a real issue here which could be costing business and reputation!! Emotiva; reply please.

I noted it all in my email. Reply was along the lines of 'sorry to hear about your concerns..... Gas prices have risen......we can ship to US address and organise your own freight' ..... Not ideal

Not ideal I dont understand this. Emotiva said that the dropped the European Warehouse because it was cheaper for customers outside the US if they use Bongo instead. Isnt this the total opposite of the intentions?

Gas prices are actually falling. Just a fob you off line that doesn't take into account the forced exchange rate.
Bring back Fed-Ex.

If the buyer lives in an EU country, I can help. 25% (average) price reduction, up to 70 lbs. If you live in Austria (for example) and you need 5x XPA-1 power amplifiers (84 lbs each) then I also have a solution for you. If you are interested, send me a private message. EU buyers can get rid of Bongo, IMHO.

Not ideal If that were true we wouldn't be getting XMCs shipped via UPS for half the cost of what Bozo would be charging.

Isnt this the total opposite of the intentions? Freight has gone down in price not up. My work is receiving better discounts now than they ever have, and only a small operation. Bongo has been a sad failure for international customers, but it doesn't appear Emotiva wishes to make any changes to this. That is their right, and the loss in international sales is obviously not telling. Still doesn't make it any less disappointing for us long time overseas Emotiva fans. Certainly put a stop to my recent buys

I really don't like that forced exchange rate especially when I have a bank full of US dollars and live in Canada.. u think bongo and change money better than me ? lol
