Heck, I just wish they would give us a status update. I ordered some cables from Emotiva by phone last week. I spoke with a male employee, (Lonnie maybe). I asked about the status of the XMC -1, ie projected release or project information update, and all I got was non specific replies o: " we are working on it and making some updates", and "we want to take the time to get it right". But, no specifics on when we would be told more about it were given. I got pretty much the same response when I asked about the XSP-1, since I am interested in both.

Trust me, they will not even talk about it until its 3-4 weeks away from release "after" all the bugs are worked out and the beta testing is done. They learned a valuable lesson with the UMC-1 and they won't be making that mistake again.

Mike I spoke with Lonnie about two weeks ago for over an hour, and one of the subjects we covered is "pre-releasing" any more products - or giving in to demand and letting things ship before they are 100% positive they are: A: Ready to go functionally. B: Have them in country or very close. So, Having said that we'll see........... :-) |
