I just hope this one is good. The last three did not have the same soul as the original three. I never really understood why that was with Lucas still in charge. I will wait to hear how JJ Abrams has done his job before I stand in line for tickets. He has done OK with the new Star Trek movies so he has some Sci-Fi experience and has a good track record with Action movies. I hope it is good ! Us old Jedi Knights deserve another trip in the Melanin Falcon to a good fight. I heard Chubaka has a new hairdo by L'Oreal.  |

I'll go 2-3 weeks after opening.
I'm in the middle of a bad luck streak at theaters with kids running around and smartphone game playing by bored girlfriends who were dragged to a movie they didn't want to see.

Bought IMAX 3D tickets before Thanksgiving. Saturday at 3:00. Couldn't see it Friday as I had hoped due to my wife not being able to get off work.
My only wish is that it was regular IMAX, not 3D, but it's not being released that way.

He (Jar Jar Abrams) has done OK with the new Star Trek movies... Oh god, no! If he's made Star Wars the way he's shatner'd all over Star Trek, I won't even bother. I swore that the first lens flare I saw I'd walk out of the theater and, sure enough, there was one in the teaser trailer. So, I'm even having a hard time getting into this new batch of films. |

I have absolutely no interest in Star Wars, Star Trek or anything of the sort. These fantasy space movies are just not appealing to me. Then again I can not argue with the stunning effects they offer up. Even The Hobbit, Avatar and other movies of the same ilk offer up great sight and sound experiences although I have no interest in the movies themselves.

I prefer seeing most movies in my own home theater. The sound is better. The picture is good enough. There is no idiot talking behind me, or head in the way in front of me. The projectionist at my home theater is polite enough to stop the movie if my wife needs to go to the bathroom. I almost never see movies in a commercial theater anymore.
That said, I doubt if I can wait until this one is released on Blu-Ray. I can wait several weeks for the social hoopla to wear off though...

By the way, does anyone know how I could find out if my theater has Atmos? when I go to a commercial theater, I usually go to cinemark. They seem to be the best in Colorado Springs, but I do not know if they are Atmos equiped...

I am not a gamer either. Absolutely does nothing for me. By the way, I hit pretty hard for a "woman"... |
