Ok, I believe that another thing that contributes to the excellent sound of the Airmotiv and Stealth speakers is the front panel of the cabinet is very thick and dense. When you wrap on it with your knuckles it does not resonate the rest of the cabinet. I think that being CNC milled from a single block of what seems to be very dense MDF and also very thick makes a big difference.

I have a question regarding the Airmotiv B1 vs the E1. The E1 is specifically described to be a side/rear surround speaker. Is this mainly because of the low-profile design that it would really only be suited for such, or is there more to its design that would make it a better side/rear surround speaker than say, the larger B1?

You see the B-1's on the bottom and the E-1's on the right. The B-1 has a 5.25” woofer and the E-1 has a 4.5” woofer. The B-1 is rear ported and the E-1 is front ported. The way I see it is they both can be used for surrounds. You will not be able to mount the B-1 flush against the wall but that is why they made the cabinet long and thin with a front port on the E-1. The E-1 has a slightly smaller woofer because of the cabinet design but they are made specifically for the customers to hang flush on the wall and not stick out. I think the E-1 will be popular for other duties. A small speaker that performs larger than it's size with front porting is good for many applications.

I am curious how that C-1 center is going to perform if it is somewhat enclosed on the back with the ports on the back of it ?

How much better will it be at surround duty is anyones guess right now. I have a feeling that the E-1 is not going to be a slouch. My surrounds have 4 " woofers and sound great. I will get the B-1 for surrounds but a cool ideal is to have the E-1's flush mounted on the back wall for the back surrounds and the B-1's on stands for the back side surrounds.

I'm undecided as to what I would do for a full setup yet. Currently have the Stealth 8's and I'm not sure if the T1's would be a proper replacement for fronts or if I should await and see if the fabled T10's come out with bigger drivers. The Stealth 8's would be quite the meaty side speakers.

However, same brand can be close enough for me. Also, having the Stealth 8's in the side surround could help bring some oomph to the rest of the room.

If you have the room for it and the authority to implement it, full range speakers all around is the way to go.

Interesting what kind of grill gonna be there? and any veneer/color options? Speakers looks a bit boxy but I could live with it if they will sounds right to my ears

If you have the room for it and the authority to implement it, full range speakers all around is the way to go. The main issue would be volume matching the stealth 8's to everything else being they run on their own amps.

Nothing announced for finish or color options. Maybe they'll surprise us!

Did I read right that that tower was only $350? Was it per pair?! That's very low!

Shown with grills: Neat! Have these been shown before or are these new? I'm curious where all these pictures are coming from. Another note; Axis posted a picture of the T1 where all three drivers have phase plugs, but in the Audioholics video the T1 had dust caps for the 6.5" drivers and a phase plug for the 5.25" driver. Which style is the final production?

It's still a very nice price imo especially if it allows more money for the cabinets to be sturdy.
