Shown with grills: Neat! Have these been shown before or are these new? I'm curious where all these pictures are coming from. Another note; Axis posted a picture of the T1 where all three drivers have phase plugs, but in the Audioholics video the T1 had dust caps for the 6.5" drivers and a phase plug for the 5.25" driver. Which style is the final production? These are two of the production photos I have taken of the speakers. Through all the variations, the mid driver has been the only with with an actual functioning phase plug.

Question on frequency response: the T1 lists "37 Hz - 28 kHz (+0/-6 dB)". Other speakers I've looked at show +/- 2dB. How does one compare the two?
Also, no port on the C1. Does this mean it can be pushed pretty close to a wall?

Excellent news. The C-1 center is Sealed. No port sound out the back.

Awesome. Airmotivs everywhere in the house. Powered or Passive, no room should go without. Nice work to all at Emotiva Audio.

Not impressed by the specs..... 37 hz is not very low....... But 349 is a very good price! So I guess it will kick ass compared to other speakers in that price range. But I seriously doubt that it is a high end speaker. I hope emotiva will come with a better line in the future I belive that if emotiva bought more expensive parts, and the price would end up around 2-3 k...... Than they probably could challange the best

I wish manufactures would use bigger woofers like 8 to 12 inch instead of multiple small ones. They just cannot pressurize the room.

This is one of the reasons I prefer the dual 10's in my Klipsch Legends. I find that a pare of 12" woofers can be a bit much unless you tame them. While I'm no speaker design expert, I would agree. Speaker cabinets start becoming very cumbersome at or over 12in woofer design, IMO.

It is, however, why speakers like the Pendragons are so popular; or even the Lore which started it all for him with it's 10" driver. There's just no substitute.

When the new Airmotivs are out in the wild, will everyone please lie and say they suck. I don't need to replace my old B&W 202's, but just the thought of something new has me tempted. So, just lie. Please.

Mark Just what I see on website and my present experience with the Emo reference line and the powered airmotiv line reviews, make me very confident that these speakers line will be astonishing not only for the price.

Just asking. What is so great about these speakers? Comparing them to other on-line speaker companies like Tekton & Salk who are devoted to the SPEAKER alone. For the best bang for the buck I see Emotiva as being a leader with amplifiers but not in the speaker category. MO

Yes, they are known for amps, but...they have made some great speakers. Mark
