Setting up Dirac for my 5.2 system. I got all 5 speakers to be in the green during the level calibration but even with my iNuke amp gain all the way up, my subs aren't loud enough to get in the green, any ideas?
If I get my subs in the green by increasing the output level in the software, my speakers are way past the green.
The only idea I have it to maybe up the db level on the XMC-1 for the sub output but I read that everything is overridden while using Dirac. All channels are currently at 0db.

Do you have the option to turn the gain up on the sub amp?

Try another factory reset on the xmc. There's zero reason you should have to set the nuke gains at max. Are you using any splitters or bump boxes? When using the other presets can you achieve proper sub levels? What cables are you using from xmc to inukes ?

Loud enough is a pretty subjective term.....

Do you have the option to turn the gain up on the sub amp? Yes, I agree! Instead of turning up the slider in Dirac I use the gain knob to get within the proper perimeters in Dirac. After Dirac creates the filters you can always go and add more gain if you like.

Loud enough is a pretty subjective term..... It's not subjective when the software is doung the measuring.. MULTICHANNEL RULES !!!!!!

Are the subs set to "On" or triggered on? Its been stated somewhere that this has caused your specific problem to others.

Just out of curiosity, what is the performance like when you manually calibrate the system? Are you able to level match all speakers to 85db?

Yeah, it's a pro audio amp, yes it is on, lol.
From out of the xmc-1 it is 6' RCA to XLR converter.
I have tried the gain knobs all the way up on the iNuke.
The XMC in dirac settings is configured to dial mono.

The nukes "should" be able to be driven from an rca output especially when the gain is turned all the way up... But stranger things have happened. Which nuke do you have? Dsp version?

The RCA to XLR is passive, nothing to it really.
Yeah the iNuke 3000 DSP I believe.
I haven't tried preset 1 or 2 because when using Dirac it doesn't pay attention to those. I can up the db for the subs and the gain on the xmc though and they are definitely playing.

Asking about the other presets to narrow down the problem. if it's the cable or xmc itself( blasphemy I know as Emotiva is awesome) . Or the amp is being limited somehow.. Just trying to work with what ya got to start

I can see if there's a difference playing a source later. I had a UMC before this and it was fine. Nothing with the iNuke, subs, or cables changed.
