UMC-1 owners were also enrolled in UFL. They should enroll early adopters of the MC700 in the UFL program too (please, please, please!) Did you even read the posts above yours? The program is closed. Period! That program existed to reward customers who supported Emotiva when they did their first steps into processor development and stumbled upon quite some problems then. First with the UMC-1 it was the 40% one time only voucher, with the UMC-200 and for some time the PT-7030 it was 25% UFL. That´s it. Program closed and I doubt there will be any renewal of this.

The "Upgrade for Life" program officially closed on April 30, 2015. HERE is a direct link to a post from Big Dan himself that clearly explains how the program exists moving forward. It does include original owners of every processor Emotiva has ever made up to the XMC-1. So, if you made an original purchase of any Emotiva processor prior to April 30, 2015, you are an "Upgrade for Life" member.

If you were going for a kidding type response, you missed the mark and sound pretty harsh. Of course I read the posts above mine that the program was closed, it doesn't hurt to ask in a half joking manner, lighten up. When Emotiva was offering UFL I was still digging out of the hole post college (yes, into my late 30's). I knew about the program and if I had money for this kind of endeavor at the time I would've been in. I had to be responsible and wait until my income matched my tastes. Now that I am here I like it and will likely be a regular upgrade candidate. It would be great if my upgrade path would be subsidized by a discount program, Emotiva would see more of my money over time if they hung out that carrot. I would be more loyal to the brand, more likely to keep all Emo gear, and likely to upgrade more frequently.

I think the bigger question for this specific thread is:
Has anyone recieved a shipping notice? With the latest promise date of 1/15, today is effectively the last day they can ship and make their already once revised committment. I feel like those of us who purchased the MC700 are early adopters who have put our money where I our mouths are and supported Emotiva's new product launch.
The lack of information is the problem. Yes there was a cryptic message that units are shipping but what does that actually tell us?

I am waiting to put my new Oppo 203 in the rack until the MC700 arrives, but that oppo box is getting dusty.

Everybody relax. They're on their way today! Your emails that announce that all units will ship by the end of the month, that is.

Not even a reply to an email inquiry I made last week asking for an update. Bummed

I dont want to tear my rack apart twice so I am holding off making dome other improvements until i receive the mc700.

(I have hundreds of them for sale, but recommend you hurry while they last...)
