Seems like that price point would be perfect to compare to a set of Emo T1's. I own the lore reference, m-lores, and Enzo's. I notice no difference between the 2 lores, the Enzo's are in a different league Have you looked at the new website lately? The specs for the lore reference are all wrong including the size and weight, and the Enzo page has the 'Impact Monitor' pull down menu. What a mess. He needs some serious help in the web design help.

A part-time person helping him with the website alone would do wonders...

I don't understand his approach, but for many models he hits an affordable price point and a full range sound. I am very tempted by the Lore, Lore Reference and URUZ, but I have no money. Maybe I'll put some gear up for sale so I can try. If I could get one of these high efficient speakers I wouldn't need my XPA-100 Gen 2 anymore. If you wouldn't need your XPA-100 anymore, what are planning to use? I have multiple other amps. Currently using a Naim UnitiQute as a PreAmp. It has an internal 30W amp. With a 97dB or 98dB efficient speaker, I believe the 30W is sufficient. If not I have other options.

Another week goes by, another Tekton speaker drops... Haha!
The grills will cover the entire front of the speaker, if you can get them at all that is.

Check out Eric Alexander's latest and greatest: UlfBerht: Now that is just going too far.. is that real or fake speaker news? Somehow I was reminded of Lonnie when I saw the middle tweeter section in the picture of those speakers.

Is this for real? Really? It's not April 1 is it? If this is for real, then this would sum up exactly what I'm talking about. After the talk about it in this thread, I'm literally rolling my eyes right now and laughing a big "give me a break" at this new picture. He may be a mad genius and the speakers may sound great, but do NOT tell me there is any real science at work here. I'm keeping my figures crossed that this is pure photoshop fakery. That's what I'm believing until it's proven otherwise.

I think there is room for 38 tweeters in those two boxes!

I have never heard Tektons but to me that speaker design is a mumble jumbled array. Tweeters on top of tweeters must sound like a hot mess. I will stick with what I have, a big no thank you to the newest designs.

I will stick with what I have, a big no thank you to the newest designs. But...but...but....that one dead center tweeter holds it all together. It's a D'Appolito array gone Godzilla if you ask me. Perhaps these are being made in North Korea and they are the results from nuclear testing?

I don't know what you guys are talking about! This is a HELL YES! That was a few weeks back when YES finally got into the R N R Hall of Fame. Here's my e-mail to a friend yesterday. So I totally missed this. Looks like YES finally got into the Hall of Fame. Ridiculously late. What a joke the R n R H of F is.
BUT, as one might note, since founding member and only YES member 100% of the time Chris Squire passed away, they have been basically bassless. They are touring this summer as Jon Anderson (vocals), Trevor Rabin (guitar) and Rick Wakeman (keyboards).
BUT, look who shows up on bass here for the Hall of Fame show a few weeks ago.
How cool would it be if he toured with them this summer!!!!

Owner Of A Lonely Heart (Steve Howe on Bass) youtu.be/3MOOm9kw1_0 youtu.be/pa843_cTqGU
Here’s the induction, which gives up some interesting info about the guest and his fandom of YES. And Rick Wakeman is hilarious. youtu.be/X_Qnv0NH4-s youtu.be/UyOm8WVJIRA

If they just added a side-firing tweeter to it, I would be all over that thing! The true genius of the design is that the speaker can be set upsidedown and still sound the same! With that kind of placement option, they will sell a million of these.

If they just added a side-firing tweeter to it, I would be all over that thing! How do you know there aren't any? All we saw was the front so maybe there are rear-firing, up-firing and down-firing tweeters, too. And inside-firing ones. Maybe that picture showed a front and a side view?

Ok Naysayers! I purchased the Double Impacts several months ago and have thoroughly enjoyed them! They have definitely blossomed after several hundred hours of break in and never fail to put a &*%# eating grin on my face. I am no audiophile and certainly not an official 2-channel purist. ALL STEREO thru the XMC-1 kicks butt! I have yet to rerun DIRAC since the arrival of my replacement XMC-1, but maybe I'll get to it while on vacation. I have enjoyed perusing the Tekton owners opinions thru this post and was originally swayed by Boomzilla's love of the Pendragons. I will caution all who might be considering the DI's. These are behemoths! You might want to build a cardboard mock up of the specs and test the WAF!! My post today was prompted by a neighbor who lives across the street. Bob had often laughed that he knew when my wife was out of town because he could hear my stereo. Last night he came over and said it sounded much clearer and he could make out distinctive instruments!! Now that is a true testimonial from 80 yards away!

Someone in another forum said it's like "The Onion's take on Tekton speakers" .
