Although I pretty much agree with Bill, his quoting fails are pretty damn funny. I try to put a smile on someone’s face each day.... It appears I’ve succeeded....without knowing how 😅 Bill

First off Bill, I couldn't care any less about pissing you off, I was just stating my feelings just as you do here. Second your use of the quote feature on this forum is nearly never correct. There is a correct way how they should appear and yours are almost always incorrect, somewhat scrambled and not properly coded to appear correctly. Back to power cables and conditioners. This is the back of my main power conditioner (I have two, both PF-60's, I also use an Emotiva CMX-2 for my two subs) As you can see all of this is not going to plug into the one available wall outlet which my power conditioner plugs into. The power conditioner provides a nice neat place for everything to get power. Back of conditioner by itself, it provides 12 rear outlets (6 isolated pairs to help eliminate cross contamination of components, advanced trigger control, advanced delay controls, noise filtering, surge protection, monitoring and more. I can either have connected components either turn OFF to their STANDBY or be completely powered OFF with no power to their cables (No lighted Emotiva power buttons when system is OFF) Front side, looks nice matches well with other components and displays incoming voltage and total amperage used or amperage usage at each of its six isolated power banks and provides a single front outlet if needed for temporary use. I auditioned many (maybe 10 or so) different power sources different power strips and different power conditioners, many affected the overall sound quality of my system many of them had poor affects limiting peaks and bass were the most notable affects. The PF-60 is what I preferred the most and what my system sounded its best connected to.

What was the reason for that image control rant? Hey you made a successful quote above without it getting the code messed up, (but a lot of people prefer to shorten long quotes). You rant in every thread on cables in this forum, it really is just annoying and you do seem to be a troll in the subject. Why not let people have a place to discuss topics they enjoy without your constant rants. Personally I feel the same way about remote controlled image control speakers as you do about cables, they are an expensive gimmick and an unnecessary expense. Don't feel bad I personally have always thought the current 3d video was a gimmick too, a fad and something I knew would fade away with time.

What was the reason for that image control rant? A comparison to your rants on what you feel as an unnecessary expense, as I said I feel the same about the remote controlled image control in your speakers as you do cables. I guess if there were threads about the remote controlled image control speakers I'd need to go rant in those threads just as you do in all threads about cables.

I find this whole thread, derailed and funny. No one has asked the OP did he need a new power cord because of loss or damage? Or was he just wanting to upgrade etc?

I guess if there were threads about the remote controlled image control speakers I'd need to go rant in those threads just as you do in all threads about cables. I'm going to compare, for arguments sake the XMC and the Allison IC 20 as components. BOTH are high end products and BOTH have features that not everyone will use, for one reason or another. Yes the IC 20's have an image control system......but you could not get those speakers without taking the image control. (The included imaging was a negligible expense in the context of the entire systems.) With the exception of ATMOS, you take the XMC with everything that comes with that component also..........just use what you want. I bought the IC 20's because they are a 20 driver array. They have the timbre I'm happy with and put some serious DB output into a room, using 400 watts per channel amplification. However, those systems are used in a surround system and I control the imaging (as many do here) with a very potent center channel, leaving the image control always off. I don't use the included image control system, was never interested in that....an equitable trade off. (you never asked) Your use of the term "troll" indicates you have know idea what it is, so I will educate you............ The term "troll" refers to someone who disrupts a thread (or conversation) for the sake of disruption, and nothing else. We used to experience them in the CB world, breaking into a conversation and being disruptive.......we would pretend they weren't there and/ or discreetly move to another channel to pick up the conversation when possible. When I come to the forum, I always start, (as most do) with "Newest Threads" and look to follow and participate in any that interest me. If I disagree with something, I will say so like everyone else. Most are magnanimous about that, but some are not. Bill

I'm glad you enjoy your speakers, I know I enjoy everything I have done with my system and everything I have done with my cables and wiring.
You can call it what you like but as forums go you are a troll in pretty much every wiring thread on this forum, OK so you are not someone who wishes to experiment with your wiring, others do and many enjoy it.
If you had an unhappy marriage or simply don't believe in it do you need to interrupt every ceremony you see and say don't do it, it doesn't work! Because that is how you seem to handle every single cable and wiring thread you see. Oh schitt now I will be accused of marriage ranting.

Mann, you don’t read, just go on and on about cables. Decent, high quality cables are essential and I’ve got them all just not exorbitant. On this thread you wrote a story about noisy, dirty high voltage needing to be tamed by power conditioners that was bullshit, and I called you on it. Not trolling just correcting nonsense. Instead of correcting or debating, you chose to respond and act like a child 🧒 and try to come up with something that would get under my skin which is typical of what people do when they don’t understand the facts and get backed into a corner. This was the real reason for the image control story of yours.... what I did earlier was to ask a retorical question and you know it.

Again, you seem to troll every thread on the forum that has anything related to wires/cables/power conditioners you started long before my comments on why a power conditioner can be helpful (in many ways) on this thread. Does everyone want or need one No. just as everyone does not want or need remote controlled Image Control on their speakers which I find a silly gimmick and which was mentioned to be a direct comparison for you.
I have gone on and on with you back and forth in quotes more than I have with anyone on this forum on many occasions, why? Because you always troll threads on wires/cables/power conditioners, a topic that interests me and I have enjoyed experimenting with.
