So what else happened at Axpona ? Share any pics you have of all the different rooms. I’d love to see some goodies. What else did emo have on display ? Any closeups of this dc2 ? I heard they had the PT-7030 Gen 2 on display  I'd like to see it!!!! I bet it would have more inputs! 🤐 |

I don't want to speak for him, but my understanding was that both would be back on the order page and shipping by the end of this month. (Fingers crossed!) I'm waiting on an S12 myself.  |

It's bit more of a complication for me, I have an XMC-1 in the US which can be sent to Emotiva when the Atmos/DTSX board is available for them to do its complex install process plus the simple install of the 4K board at the same time. Or I can get it sent to me and I can do the 4K board install myself and then get the Australian distributor to do the Atmos/DSX board install, that's if Emotiva have authorised them to do it (which they don't know right now). But wait there's more, as from 1st July we get charged 10% GST and a yet to be determined Customs handling fee on items under $1K, currently we get hit only on items over $1K. Since the 4K board and the Amtos/DTSX board added together won't be over $1K all will be OK as long as it's before 1st July. Of course there's more, I'll be in the US in July/August and I could bring it back in my luggage, so no freight, GST or Customs fees, meaning slightly more than half the airfare saved. Hence bribing Dan with Scotch. i thought this was the axpona thread. hey moderator... where are you when we need you. I guess I was expecting/wanting/needed different information from Expona than you did. But I don't believe that my expectations were out of line with what was physically displayed at Expona. The problem was Emotiva didn't/couldn't/wouldn't answer the timing questions about what was displayed, well not in any way that is useful. Cheers Gary |

What I think is a pretty big deal is that the platform for their processors is now under one roof. Some may remember when Outlaw Audio had to shelve their Trinnov based processor and got booted from the production line by a larger company. Having not to worry about that is huge.
The other big one is the expansion module for the RMC-1.

I run 99db speakers as my mains in my theater room, a super low noise floor and adjustable gain would be stellar... Stupendous even. Can someone from emo maybe possibly give a little more info on these ? Pretty please. |

That’s exciting to hear an expansion module will be available for 6 independent Dirac sub outs on the RMC-1. No one will have to lose out on the low end with 9.6.6. Thanks for the link Any more info on the 6 SW board? Do we know of a relative timeline for this (and cost)? Will the end user be able to install this? |

Did they say anything about Auro3D at Axpona? I know originally that was a discussed feature. Once the 6 subwoofer board with full bass management and Dirac is released the 16th channel could be used for VOG. Better yet they could offer an Auro3D expansion module so fans of Auro3D can put even more speakers in their ideal location. Given the low uptake of Auro3D that likely wouldn't make sense financially but it would be very unique.
