Yes, #2 is the primary output.
New beta code is up. Ray posted it on the bottom of the previous page for anyone who wishes to try it.

I know there are far bigger issues for some, but just wanted to report that I just loaded in 5.1a from the previous page and still no DV (Apple TV, Oppo 203) or ARC for me. I bought one of those 48gbps Belkin cables to try, too. Sad trombone.

In fact, it's a partial firmware update. I'm not even reflashing my XMC-1 with this new version because I have no HTPC, XBOX or PS4 in my setup.

Help with blue font on new OSD. This is a brand new XMC-1 and the OSD is messed up.
Someone posted this issue back on June 21st. I didn't find any solutions in the thread. Is my unit fubar? The text should be white...

The text should be white... It is the dark blue in 5.0. I am hoping they change it back to white or make the fill off-white to get some contrast.

Another problem that is not HDMI board related. Since this is a new XMC-1, I tried to load my old Dirac file. Dirac software crashes when I click on the filers tab. Anyone know how to keep Dirac from crashing before generating new filters?

If the OSD is suppose to be blue, then why are a others posting images with white font? Please refer to posts back on page 16 and prior. I have not seen anyone else post the blue font.

FYI - Chromecast Ultra, which had been working perfectly, is now all pink and green. I'll reboot the XMC-1 to determine if that resolves the problem.

Yes, I called in and went through a series of tests. Fix was to re-install latest, latest firmware. Thank you Emotiva. You have the nicest techs on the planet.

As mentioned, my font is white and the entire OSD is larger than it used to be (not just wider). Though again, I'm still on a 1080p display which might account for the size, but likely not the font color.

For those of you that already have 5.1 loaded and are having problems getting 4k on game consoles or HTPC, please try the attached. I had to zip it to fit withing the attachment limits. Be sure to unzip it first. This will load much faster than a normal update because it is only loading one piece of firmware. Please post your results. Thanks, Ray
I now have 4k available along with HDR on a PS4pro.

I was going to hook up my Xbox One S to check compatibility, but since my system is working fine on 5.1, I don’t want to rock the boat for a device that I don’t use every day.

Thanks, Ray. I'm about to step out, but I'll check this when I get back later tonight.

First post on this forum so let me start with props to the folks @emovita. I was scheduled to have my XMC-1 sent in and v3 board swapped out but when you guys started boasting about getting your tracking #s i called in to get mine sent to me instead. Im bad with names but the sweet and helpful girl told me that i should expect it to ship the next week but later that day i got an email saying it would ship sooner and then another saying it was going out that afternoon. 2 days later im looking at my system thinking O boy here comes the tough part haha.
So now down to business, ive let you forum vets do the leg work with the problems while i sat lurking and installing the newer firmwares from your replies to emotiva here. Ive been silent but now i have questions that i dont see asked so i will. Thanks to you on the forum and thanks to the guys working with you from Emotiva.
So the newest firmware to fix the ps4pro does that, fixes it as far as i see. im getting 4k and hdr when i should.
But what im not getting is something i was on the old board, thats having my xmc-1 turn on when i turn on my tv. i have hdmi cec turned on in both the xmc and my tv which is a LG oled g6. With the last firmware i have everything working so far, oppo 203 displaying Dolby vision, 4K and HDR when it should. Pc and cable (1080p) looking fine and of course the ps4pro working now. So if anyone has the tv turning on and off the xmc and are using a lg oled i would appreciate your imputs.
thanks again to Lonnie and the rest of you for putting out ideas and imput to where i have my system back but in 4k!

Thanks, Ray. I'm about to step out, but I'll check this when I get back later tonight. I can confirm that my HTPC is working as expected! I didn't have time to test *everything* because it's late, and I've had a bit too much wine, but I can now get 60hz refresh rate with HDR and proper audio passthrough. Thank you very much! At this point my only complaint is how long it takes to lock on to an audio signal. That's not specific to HTPC, but rather the new HDMI board in general. Hopefully that can be tightened up via firmware updates in the future.

We are constantly working to accelerate the lock time, but a lot of that is out of our control. It all comes back to HDCP2.2. In the lab, if we turn it off, the system is lightning fast, turn it on and it takes 5 to 6 seconds for an input change. Lonnie

Handle HDCP like units similar to a HD Fury. ...I know I know, legal reasons.

I guess if we moved the company off shore, then we could do pretty much anything we wanted and no one could stop us. Hmmmm Lonnie
