Recently visited Hawaii, on vacation with my family. First time there, split our time between the Big Island and Ohio. A few snapshots, taken with my lowly Samsung S9's camera: Nice pics! Thanks for sharing. Must've been tedious going from the Big Island to Ohio!

Very nice pix (no idea why they're upside down in the preview... they open right-side-up when I click on them). What the heck... No idea why the last two show upside down!

Thanks, as it often happens in photography, a matter of being in the right place at the right time. I thought about bringing the "serious" photo gear, but I did not want to worry about the sand, the humidity, the salt water sprays... Not to mention that knowing myself I would have focused (ahahaha...) too much on photography. Having been this a wedding anniversary vacation I figured I better make sure it wasn't my last (anniversary, 🤣🤣🤣)

This is a frame grab from a 10 second time lapse video I took with a drone last night 300' up. The time lapse took almost 21 minutes and consisted of 250 8.2mp photos taken 5 seconds apart and stitched together into a short video clip.

Been to Bodie many times. Very cool. I used to live in Mammoth Lakes.

A couple of Fall season shots at the nearby lake, somewhere North West of Boston 😁. Sadly, I did not have my Nikon D500 with me, I had to settle for my Samsung S22 phone:

Been to Bodie many times. Very cool. I used to live in Mammoth Lakes. Cool! I learned to ski at Mammoth back when the good skiers wore corduroy knickers and they played Austrian yodeling music over horns mounted on top of the lift towers (yes, a long time ago), love Mammoth Mountain. I’ve driven by the road to Bodie many times, but first time I’ve ever driven down it.

Aladdin is like a last stop before getting to Devil’s Tower. A nice old patron in this General Store updated us on the sign “Population 15” down to 11 we have to fix that!

For those of you tired of seeing snow, good news, the ski season (for some) is coming to an end ⛷️ (even though there’s still over 10 feet of snow on the ground). Rumor has it that Mammoth Mountain in the Sierra, might not close this season! 😮 Here some of my ski buds and I (stripes) took one last hike up Jupiter peak at Park City Mountain. Our view across to Pinecone Ridge (and more challenging hikes)
