Won't win any academy awards, but it was entertaining with good special effects.

THUNDERBALL!! Ha ha!
My wife and daughter gave me the complete 007 set from Dr. No, Right through the Daniel Craig Flicks! The Blu-ray is great because it makes it easy to spot the early fake and cheesey special effects blunders on the first movies which ADDS to the entertainment value. Remember the spider 🕷 scene (DR No). Check that on Blu-ray.....it will make you laugh (or should) without needing to look too close!

I watched The 12th Man on Netflix last night and it was an awesome story. Jan was a Norwegian hero as the one that got away. It is a harrowing film.

Bill Footnote: One film is absent from this box set.....and THEN I recalled the story. There was an ownership rights issue with “Never Say Never Again” that kept it out. I’ll just Netflix that puppy!

It is however a blu-ray in my Bond collection and since it no longer being produced it now commands >$100 used.

I know I wanted to revisit those films after getting the news. I did manage to find a new copy on Blu-ray for 30 bucks but still that wasn’t worth it to me, so I put it in the Netflix Cue instead. I've had this movie, un-opened, for about 3 years now. I found watching this today most appropriate.

And not being able to have a discussion on this board about the subject matter most inappropriate What's inappropriate is the way members treat one another when discussing politics and religion. What's inappropriate is the way members makes things personal when discussing politics and religion. What's inappropriate is the way members forget they are grown adults when discussing politics and religion. Need I go on? I agree, it's pathetic that said discussions inevitably turn into a battle royale.

Ya, but if I view another synopsis about the sky is falling I'm going to @^%$&^^ In all seriousness, I found the resolution spectacular. I found Gerard Butler's acting superb as "expected". Just watched him in another movie called, "Law abiding Citizen". The synopsis of the movie was incredibly intriguing as a student of the Lex Talionis. The part where Gerald Butler said, "I'm going to bring this whole temple down upon you".... [with a snicker], then saying, "It's going to be biblical" - had me rolling on the floor.

Let's forget about the religion and politics which were in the movie "Risen" and just comment on it through a scientific lens. Poof..... all the problems are gone. Just like that! The irony is the policy of this board goes against the very content of the movie you just viewed. Peace!

Well made remake. Good effects right at the beginning of 1:30min. Riding cars around one. Natural fine sound in the movie, mosquito bees buzz around. The RMC shin with it and my setup brings it to the point. An interesting movie 💪

The college education side of me, applied mathematics and applied statistics background, piqued my interest in this movie/documentary. Because of the nature of its background I won't be discussing it due to the Lounge Rules of Politics & Religion. I will however say if you are at all interested in factual statistics, this is an interesting watch and recommended. This post in no way sanctions a discussion on the subject and I will delete any such attempts at doing so.
