Who previously said that? Unless it was someone from Emotiva I don't really care - in my mind launching a product and opening a branch has nothing to do with each other.

The only information from Emotiva was the one given by Big Dan in the podcast.
The EuroShop will come with the new site that will allow you to order in USD, EUR and CAD, and the things will ship from the US, Europe and Canada respectively.
Since Dan is not in charge of the site process, he has no idea of when it'll be ready.
Emotiva has grown and has lots of stuff happening at the same time, so the president can't be in charge of everything.
I, for one, quitted waiting last week. So, I'm writing this post while hearing music thru my new DC-1 that arrived yesterday. Other, heavier devices, that have large shipping charges (and taxes on top of them when arriving at EU) that I was waiting to buy in the Euroshop, I just ended up going to other brands available here.

Maybe not directly in charge of everything but a relatively important launch as a European Warehouse, the President of a Corporation the size of Emotiva should know when the new improved website should be ready for launch and also when the European Warehouse really is going to open it's doors. I still wonder why the European Warehouse is still not operational. For me personally a European Warehouse is not that important anymore. I only want to buy the XMC-1 and the shipping costs for that unit from the USA is not that high. I'm not in the market to buy XPR power amplifiers or loudspeakers at this moment |

Well on the podcast they mentioned that at the end of the month the new website should be up and running. If my memory serves me well Emotiva made a statement that the European Warehouse would open when ordering via the new website would be possible.....

But hope Emotiva can open the repaircenter with shipping with the new website. Service center i Europe with better service and prices will increase the sells alot in Europe. |
