Audio Service www.audioservice.nl/merken#E is doing repairs for Emotiva. It's a well know and well respected repair shop who are the official repair service for: Accuphase, Arcam, Marantz, Leben, Onkyo, JL Audio and many many more.

Hope is all we have! I'm kinda glad I wasn't around when this thread started. At least the "launch" is somewhat around the corner now. Hopefully ...

Thanks, I don't know what i was thinking when I made it though. I'm holding out for the ominous website relaunch. If it doesn't bring any sort of "improvement" (sale/reduced shipping costs) for European customers then I'll probably just order. If shortly after my order things change I'd feel kind of cheated but that's just how it is I guess.

I had contact with emotiva about a possible repair of my xpa-5 under warranty. The told me the only official repair center of emotiva equipment is in Franklin. The repair center in elst, the Netherlands is not official. I found it quite strange with the fuss on the European distribution center. Perhaps they are not as far along as we like them to be.
For the record: I hope I am completely wrong about this.

I find this curious. Last August, I had some problems with my Stealth 8's. I've brought them into the Audio Service premises in Elst. I was in contact with Nick Hetzler of Emotiva at the time. In fact, I was the first customer to use this repair center on behalf of Emotiva. They made a very professional impression, and a lot of high(er) end audio equipment was being serviced there.

That is strange. I asked twice to be certain and the person I mailed with told me that he asked his supervisor and the person that oversees the repair centers. They both said that there is only one repair center. On the other hand, it is known that Emotiva cooperates with local repair centers with international shipments.

We can only hope It feels like the warehouse are on ice for the moment. But hope that the new website with direct ordering are soon here. But have feel great to have a warehouse in Europé with a chance to test gear in 30 days with a chance to return it without Tax and Toll fees home and maybe this extra fees + shipping back to Emotiva office in Franklin Tenesse. Have they also have service in Europe it have been great.

I just ordered an XPA 5 using the E-Club thing, I figured it was the best piece of gear to start with out of the three that I "need" (XPA 5, XPA 2, XSP 1). Somebody make me feel good about this purchase please. :/

I asked Emotiva more than 2 years ago(15 march 2012)and did get this answer: 'Thank you for your interest in Emotiva! We are currently working on finalizing the all the details for our European branch. As soon as we have information of when it will be opened it will be released on our website. I do thank you for your patience with us as we get up and running in Europe. Thank you for all your support.'

The warehouse is on ice, so I've been told speaking with Emotiva last week. Just a new website is beiing launched to make it easier to purchase equipment from other countries. But that's it. Not a word about the xmc and a little dissapointment according to the warehouse :-(

What I really find disappointing is that Emotiva even doesn't make an announcement that they decided to put the European Warehouse on ice. In different podcasts they claimed even that they were stocking the warehouse. And now nothing... Clarity, clarity, clarity, even if a decision is negative.

Communication with your (potential) customers above everything. Even now some explanation would be in place.

It is not really part of Emotiva's culture to reflect on failures, they are ruled out and that is it.
