Kill Bill (both) - awesome audio and video... i couldn't believe how good it looked/sounded. Plus great story and fun to watch

Last night I watched a blu-ray that most of you have never heard of. The title of the movie is Sophie Scholl. Over 70% of the movie takes place in a Gestapo interrogation room. There is no special effects just good acting. The film is in German with subtitles. Hearing the film in German makes it more powerful. I highly recommend this film if you are a WWII history buff like me or if you just like two actors going at each other in an intellectual struggle of wits.

I watched generation kill, all episodes this last week. A great mini series! I will watch it again for sure sometime!

'American Gangster'. * Just curious; how come I never see other member's Blu-ray movie viewings in here? ...Like Chuck for example. And others too (Dan, Cathy, Lonnie, Sarah, Rachel, ...). This is the type of thread that reveals a bit about ourselves by the genre of Blu-ray movies that I/we like watching, or simply interested by curiosity. Without Music or Movie preferences, this entire thing about Audio/Video would be absolutely meaningless. |

'DareDevil'. ...The Director's Cut. ...Not that I like that movie, but I LOOOVE the Audio soundtrack! ...Now, that is a total assault of Sounds on your Senses, simply luv it to death! Video quality is fine, quite good actually compared to the DVD version, with mucho mas details in the black areas, which this movie has quite a lot of these dark scenes. ...But for me it's all about the AUDIO first. ;D |

Wasn't Blu-ray, but watched The Maiden Heist... decent movie, funny but predictable. That's OK, it doesn't have to be absolutely a Blu-ray disc. (Some great films are not yet on BD, so...) |

Have used this one as a demo for friends/collegues who avoided it. They were very surprised at how good it was and such a part of the story. |
