Does everyone receive a confirmation that they are on the pre-order list? I was a late comer and didn't click the button until sometime in January, shortly after, the following week perhaps, the pre-order button was removed from the website. I emailed Emotiva last week asking for confirmation. I know it usually takes them a while to respond to emails so I am patiently waiting, just thought I'd ask here if people were automatically receiving confirmations. Thanks I did - 1/8/10 |

Hi all I an on 2nd list as of 30-10-2009 revived email saying will ship on 15-3-2010 hope this helps Dave Hmmmmmm, I got an email confirm that I was on the 2nd list on 10/29 but have yet to get anything since then. |

Thanks I didn't get a confirmation. I also signed up at the end of the second list, sometime in January of this year. I called them to place an order for a USP1 and to give my credit card info for the two UPA1's I'd pre-ordered and I asked about the UMC-1. She said that indeed, I was on the pre-order list. For what ever reason, though, I never got a confirmation email either. She told me I should expect mine sometime in March, but we'll see. I picked up an Integra 9.9 pre/pro off Audiogon to use in the interim and will decide which one to keep when the Emo shows up. |

I got an email last week saying that there is an estimated shipping date of March 5th for my unit and that they will contact me 10-14 days prior  |

I have a really big favor to ask.
If you are going to post a "I got my notice" message, would you be so kind as to include info on when you signed up and if you are a first timer or upgrading? I feel this would help us that are down on the list to have some sense of timing and possible not get this thread locked as well.

I guess I should mention that the time and date I got was just when I received the email. I may have signed up the day before and got the email that morning.

Ok, I'm the new guy here but then I just want to re-state something that got the other I am waiting thread locked. If you think you have been skipped, wronged or whatever CALL the company you want to spend money with to see what's up. No one here can answer that for you. For me PERSONALLY I am interested in just knowing in general terms when my spot may come up. The reason is I have commitments from people to buy my current gear when I get close so I can afford to buy new. I do not want to sell early and be without for months but then I don't want the buyers to go up in smoke. So if a thread tell me that someone ordering in Dec get a notice in Feb then I can guess a little knowing the deliveries vs. ordering is not linear. But if I see several folks that signed up around my time frame getting notices then I can re-compute. Simple as that. Heck, I can't get companies selling me aircraft parts that cost an order of magnitude more than stereo equipment to confirm a date when I have an airplane sitting down and can't fly so I don't expect a pre-order to promise anything. Do I want my new toys? Darn right. Will my wife let me buy without selling? NOPE, I have too much invested in my hobby already in her mind. I just have to be real and adjust. |

Well I received an email this morning advising me that my eta shipment date is April 4th. I believe I got on preorder list bout mid Dec and then early Jan I received email advising I was on list and I would be contacted in march.

Like others, I am waiting patiently however I am also watching for the Outlaw 997 to ship because it has some other very nice features. The longer Emotiva strings out the shipments, the more potential buyers they will lose to other options.
From the looks of things, with a 1/8 date on the pre-order list, I am probably looking at May ship. It's really somewhat mind boggling that Emotiva doesn't know the number and priority order of orders...and the shipping schedule of product. Obviously their strong point is not data/customer management....
Sadly, there are now three UMC-1's available on Audiogon....all at a price premium...all offering full warranty service from Emotiva.

I was on the the 1st pre-order list the 1st day. And, I am an upgrader (from an MMC-1). Late Friday afternoon (Feb. 19, 2010) an email came from Emo asking for CC info. I didn't see it until Sat. afternoon, too late to do anything. I'll probably pull the trigger on Monday and order it.
I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't have any issues with the Verizon/Motorola DVRs - is anyone else using Verizon FiOS with the Motorola DVR?
