I believe Cathy Laufman said that the pre-order lists have been closed and that once these list have been served they will then go to regular on-line ordering thus open to all-comers. This is my understanding anyhow.

I had a shipping date of 2/22/10 and got a e-mail early about shipping and should have mine tomorrow.I believe these ship dates are estimates or could be they are getting more than normal shipments.Then again maybe people are backing out of the pre-orders.

I'm on the second and got my e-mail a week ago telling me 3-5-10. I think I got lucky though and saw the new list minutes after they opened it.

Playbass i was on the 2nd pre-order list and from the e-mail confirming that i got on the list says 10/1/09.Hope that helps.

There's just no way of knowing how many people are on the 2nd list.
My confirm email was not until Jan 8th
I had been checking all the time then had hellacious fall semester and didn't spot it until late. At least I'm on I guess.
Probably won't receive a notice for another month or 2.

I was on the second list about 2 weeks in, and received email from Emotiva last week wanting CC info. They said my UMC-1 would be shipped on Feb. 22, 2010. Today I received another email stating it would be shipped today and I would receive it Tomorrow. Wanted to let you know where on the list I was......... |

I was emailed to expect shipment about 03/19/10

I'm on the first list and still no email for me. I believe this is because we are considered "Upgraders" and are in the 20% inventory list. |

I'm on the first list and am upgrading. I was told that I'd get mine when the Seahawks win the Superbowl or the Leafs win the Stanley Cup. Whichever comes first.
Okay, maybe I imagined that part.

At this point, I am happy Emotiva is taking steps to stay in business (e.g. non-upgraders prioritized) so I can even get a UMC-1 in the first place. Placidly waiting.... |

Does everyone receive a confirmation that they are on the pre-order list? I was a late comer and didn't click the button until sometime in January, shortly after, the following week perhaps, the pre-order button was removed from the website. I emailed Emotiva last week asking for confirmation. I know it usually takes them a while to respond to emails so I am patiently waiting, just thought I'd ask here if people were automatically receiving confirmations.
