I signed up in mid Nov. I got an email stating a ship date of March 12th. So Im not zeroed in on that date...........Ill be calling in the beginning of March to make sure Im not skipped.......

I think I was on the first list. I bought an LMC and had some issues with it so I exchanged it for another one. I had the same issues, so I returned that one. I signed up as soon as I found out about the UMC and have waited. I never received the e-mail last fall, and I followed up on that and I wasn't on any list. After explaining my situation, I was put on some list and just the other day, I received my notice indicating an approx. shipping date of mid March.

I believe that what is happening here is that you are an international customer. Your unit will likely require additional certifications to be legally sold in your country. It looks like you're in Norway, which I do not believe is part of the EU. I do not know what the laws are, but it could be that will delay it even further. Well, I think you can stop believing that. I know that other norwegian customers have been notified with a shipping date, and they even signed up months after me. That I call odd, and offcourse, disappointing. Anyways, I finally got a respond to my emails yesterday, after 13 days. However, the answer I got was directed to the question that was the least of my concerns. Now I kind of regretting I added that question to that e-mail at all... Well, at least I know now that they've had to look up my name, and maybe they will be able to tell me whats up with my UMC-1. I'll just enjoy the Olympics with my Yamaha for now, and hope that I have a Emotiva processor in house for the 2014 winter Olymipcs in Russia  |

I signed up on the second list (non-upgrader, US user) on 11/2/09. Got email a week ago that UMC-1 would ship 3/12. Got another email 2/23 requesting credit card info. Supplied (within 3 minutes of receipt). Then got FedEx shipping notice... will arrive 3/1. So... moving along.

Was on the the Oct 30th, 2009 per-order list, did not get any emails in terms of payment or shipping date. Called the office last week on the 18th I believe looking for my status. Was told I could pay for my unit and have one shipped the next day.
Got FedEx confirmation on the 19th, unit arrived today. (Nova Scotia, Canada)
If in doubt please call.

I pre-ordered that day too and still haven't received the confirmation email.  Well a lot of people are posting about problems. I didn't have any. So here goes: On Preorder List: October 30, 2009 Received Email: February 10, 2010 Promised Ship Date: February 22, 2010 Actual Ship Date: February 22, 2010 Scheduled Delivery: Tomorrow, woot! I might add that I only got around to calling with my cc info on Feb 22 and they still shipped that day. Well done Emo. |

Though I have to say that the audio issues with PS3s and losing lock between songs on CD is worrying me so I am not going to pressure emotiva about my preorder. I'm happy to wait a bit even though I have not had my own audio since last june (am running a crappy receiver I borrowed from someone to tide me over till I got a new one)

Just letting you guys know I finally got a respond to my UMC-1 situation.
"I’m sorry for the confusion on this order. We are holding off on the international orders to ensure it has all the latest updates on it. We expect these to be completed within the next few weeks."
Although this does not justify that international people who signed up after me are receiving their units, I guess it's a relief getting an answer.

Received an email from them dated 11/17/09 confirming that I was on the pre-order list. Have yet to receive an email stating a shipping date or asking for C.C. info.

I am on the 2nd list, joined it on 11/3. I received an email stating my UMC-1 would ship on 3/15 and I would get an email requesting payment info 10-14 days prior to that. As of today I had yet to get the email, so I emailed them. I received a response that shipments are delayed and I should be contacted shortly for payment info. I replied requesting clarification on what this shipment delay is and when I could expect to have mine shipped. No response yet.

You know i talked to cathy last week and she said "we are awaiting another load FLOWN in next week" .
So i guess still no container with big quantities , but do you see the lenghts emo will go to to actually keep delivering the goods , my guess is that flying them in isnt wery good buisness

The shipping delay is due to the new firmware that's coming out. Cathy told me that they are expecting a small quantity of units to arrive friday/monday via air.
