Love the Thiel SCS4T, JVC DLA-RS60 3D, Belles Mono's all around, sounded so smooth and unstrained. Joseph Audio set up was great as well, both rooms. The Egglestan Works was nice too, was that Mr. Linkwitz with the Orion-4 speakers?

I felt the same way,,it was very hard to leave that room i wanted to just sit in there all day Those were super cool, no matter where in the room one sat it was like you where in the sweet spot. Djoel Attachments:

You do know that you can find the Sony BDP-CX960 for less than the oppo if you look hard enough.  r The menus as my Son puts it very PS3, very clean and simple just easy to ready. Hm I don't recall the exact unit I own, but it was ES and Silver if that helps, I know if I look at my old records I can dig it up, but no I never lost info like that, Which would drive me crazy, crazy enough to toss out a window.  Hm I wouldn't say comparable to the Oppo 83ES which I owned, but very close to it. Just enough not to feel you've gone backward I'm hoping there are some device that can be integrate for vast set up, and multi changers at a cheap price  DJoel DJoel |

Tell you what I miss now that I have a sizable collection on Blu. . .a Changer. I have the sony 400 disc dvd changer and love that at the end of the day, my DVD's are in as good of shape as they were when I put them in. That, to me is a drawback on Blu, too much handling of the disc. Not a big issue for me, but when you have a wife, kid, family/visitors who want to watch a blu, you cant always be sure they will treat them as well. And the price of entry for a BD changer is still a bit too high for me and I'm not sure if the VQ is as good as my oppo. You do know that you can find the Sony BDP-CX960 for less than the oppo if you look hard enough. I got mine for $548 shipped from Amazon about a year ago. Djoel |

If you love your Sony DVD changer ( had one ES version ), you'll love the Sony BD changer even more..It's just too awesome and intuitive, with the menus popping up with their covers art all there for one to choose from, gracenotes is just awesome. Matt has my cell call me so we can meet up, you know we can have a peanut gallery going so we can hackle some of those uber high end rooms..Lol Djoel I did that to one of those snooty reviewers who brought their own music, at the last show I went to. It was pretty funny, there was crackle on his mix, not much, but it was there, and he denied it was there. Obviously the source, turntable, and/or needle he used to make his mix wasn't perfect. Oh Man I would paid twice the entrance price to be there and see that..Ummm I don't here any crackles, what you're hearing is the lighting in this room aggravating the sound waves out the speakers  Lol Dan |

Unfortunately I couldn`t afford the plasma 3D TV in the size I wanted this year , maybe in 5 years right now audio takes presidents Buy.Com send out an email with a 60 Panasonic for 1799.99 model number TCP60ST30 don't know how good they're are but they appeared to be gone at the moment. Just wondering was that a good price? |
