How much time before you turn? Sides that is! I've heard that a 3 minute steak is a tasteful wonder. I prefer it pink. You know like!!!!!! with a touch of Worchestershire. Hmmmm!

I like all nuts, including ChuckieNUT! Is peanut really bad for you? Planters 'lightly salted' peanuts and peanut butter has been my staples for years. My cholesterol is 188 despite my voracious appetite for southern fried chicken (I eat this in the absence of my wife though). I can't even touch the darn fried chicken while we're on a cruise. Yap, yap, yappity, yap! I don't take this crap thopugh when it comes to a good steak. She acquiesces by neccessity. Well, my last Lipid Profile in December measured my bad cholesterol at 114! Take that you fried chicken/steak devouring clogged artery nut! Actually peanuts are very healthy, it's all the beer you drink with them that will kill you! ;D "..........peanuts are rich in the types of fats that actually reduce cardiovascular disease risk and have strong satiety properties — meaning a person feels full after eating peanuts — so they do not pose a threat of weight gain. People can feel comfortable including them in their diet to take advantage of peanuts' reducing the risk of heart disease, without adding to body weight.........."

Anyway, you got a review for us, Nut? standby Pauly Grab some walnuts to munch on while Chuckienut consumes another bottle of Focus Factor to help him remember what the thread topic is. ;D ;D ;D You have to remember that once you reach Chuckienut's advanced age his brain has shriveled up to the size of a peanut, and once he takes enough Focus Factor to remember what the topic is it will be nap time for him... so don't be in too big a hurry. ;D ;D ;D

IMO the problem with peanuts is mostly the salt and MSG (barf) they seem to come wrapped in.

Back on topic - now that my 6.3 surrounds are more broken in, I have switched the boundary compensation on to reduce boominess from them - they are very close to the ceiling on shelves and it does seem to help. I set the LCR's BC on too to a) try to match them better and b) as the centre is now horizontal and L+R are also pretty close to the walls. I've not re-run Emo-Q yet and have it off for now. Getting there and loving the journey.

I'm actually doing something right without knowing it! Yea, Planters do fill me up. I though that filling up was her call,. ehr, perogative. Now, how do I get from 220 to 175? I'm not gonna stop drinking beer, vodka, rum, gin, whisky. I'm giving up red meat, except beef. I choose to live until I die. Thanks ChuckieDOCTOR. ;D

Well! screw me sideways! ..... Now, how do I get from 220 to 175? I'm not gonna stop drinking beer, vodka, rum, gin, whisky...... Thanks ChuckieDOCTOR. ;D It's very simple Jamrock! You've already got the first part of the diet down pat. Now the next part is simply to give up all food. You'll be down to 175lbs pronto on this all liquid diet. BTW, the more tequila the better! Update - I popped my centre back to vertical, it is a bit higher than the L+R now due to sitting on a UPA-1 but I do prefer the sound and it also has the mid/tweeter closer to the screen centre, seems to work well. So LCR are vertical and the four surrounds are horizontal. I think this will be it until I get a new house (although a new processor is a possibility and almost certainly a new projector).

UPDATE
I am really stupid! How stupid are you Nut? I am so stupid I let my 6.3 speaker fall over and get slightly damaged!
When I originally opened the box I noticed there were very slight cosmetic flaws on three of the screws on the front aluminum panel. It looked like black glue or paint. I figured I would try to get it off with some paint thinner, etc. and if that didn't work I might ask for a replacement.
However, for break-in, I had the 6.3 on two end packing Styrofoam/cardboard pieces that were on top of a short stool to raise the tweeter up to ear height. I had a nightmare two nights ago and fell out of bed smacking my head against the safe and other injuries from hitting the night stand and floor. I must have hit the floor very hard (I weigh 240lbs). I heard on the news the next day there was a 4.0 earthquake centered in my neighborhood. When I hobbled downstairs to the living room (which is directly below the bedroom) in the morning I discovered the speaker had tipped over and fallen against the wall. There were several marks and small dents including two that were showing a slight bit of wood. I was able to remove all of the paint. Later with a furniture repair dark felt pen I should be able to hide all of the marks, except one will still be able to see them under close inspection. Thus it is no longer in new condition other than the screw flaws and I will thus not be able to return it and will be keeping it regardless of my test results. I was at first just sick because my audio/HT toys are my babies and I keep perfect care of them. Don't worry, I'm OK now, no cards and flowers are necessary.
The flaws should not show when the 6.3 is on the SS-6 center channel stand. So I'll end up with a center 6.3 plus a L&R pair consisting of 2ea ERM-1's, 6.3's or 8.3's. The 8.3 pair might be impractical for me to test out and send back if I prefer the 6.3. It is my guess now prior to my tests that I'll probably end up with the 6.3's for LCR. As I mentioned to RR, it would be so much fun to do a side by side comparison of a ERM-1, 6.2, 6.3 and 8.3 (one of each) for sensitivity, power handling, frequency response, dispersion and sound quality. I just love doing this type of evaluation. Throwing in a B&W, Paradigm, PSB, Dynaudio and Monitor Audio (to mention a few) would make for a great shootout (including build quality). Some might question the mono speaker testing but I think it is the best way to concentrate on evaluating the all important characteristics I mentioned above.
I will get down to business starting Monday, when my neighbors are gone to work and I can crank it up and begin the testing. Please be patient and I promise predict should might have the final review finished and posted at the Lounge before the holiday. ;D

$h!t happens. I scratched the outside of one of my diy monitor's enclosure's while assembling it. I will replace the cabinets one of these days but the cost is rather high. As long as it sounds the same.

Brian, I'm 6-4 so it's spread out a little. I don't think I'd better touch the cannibalism joke. ;D
