Sorry folks, I got a little behind (now there is one you wise guys can really run with). I hope to have the 6.3 review done soon and posted in a new thread. I'll put a link in this thread soon. Just let me say now in advance, the 6.3 is one great speaker IMO and an incredible buy at the sale price of $399. More soon. I just ordered 2 more. Although I'm a little upset about buying the other 2 in the 4th of July sale still better than full price though. Does that make 9 of the ERM-6.3 speakers now? At the clearance pricing, it is very tempting to buy more of them even if you don't have an immediate need for them. Resistance is futile!

Chuckie, the tweeter extension actually has 3 positions. The middle and unmarked position has no roll-off at all. Its easy to hear this by running some pink noise through it and trying all 3 positions. Lonnie talked about it here: emotivalounge.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=speakerreviews&action=display&thread=4654See replies 4 and 8. I was surprised to learn of this myself. So now you'll have to recalculate the total number of combinations. ;D Thanks George, I noticed the middle position myself but did not test it since it was not labeled. I did recalculate and it come to 330 combinations! ;D ;D ;D I don't want to scare off folks like Jamrock because there are too many options/combinations. That is only the maximum mathematical possibilities to indicate the flexibility of this speaker. I would presume that most people will use the boundary switch if the 6.3 is close to the wall, etc. The tweeter settings are easy to evaluate and set for personal preferences. The midrange setting takes a little more time IMO but all of the settings should not take too long especially if you have someone to assist you in the initial choices.

I did recalculate and it come to 330 combinations! ;D ;D ;D So if you factor in 2 pairs of surrounds a centre +L/R (4 more variables) how many combinations is that.

I'm planning for 5 fronts (i.e. some form of wide processing) and probably ERD-1s or 6.2s for heights unless I pick up some more 6.3s at some stage. I couldn't justify another 4 just now - I also ordered a 3rd 6.2 so I can have a centre for the office system.

I think Nemesis has more Emotiva ERM-6.3 speakers than Ntrain had Rythmik subs!
(Don't look now but Nemesis has four Rythmik subs!)
(PS: I sure wish they would put Rythmik in the Spell Check ..... I must misspell it 3 out of 4 times!)

Rythmik rolls off the tongue like Schiit and is just a bit easier to spell.
