It seems strange that they would have updated the amplifier to 29db gain only a few months before clearing them out and shutting Sherbourn's doors. Look for this amp to got to either Emotiva or Emotiva Pro. They are not shelving this design; it will return with a new face plate before the end of the year (likely). Look for an anouncement during Emofest. Yep. I'd guess it's now an XPR-7. ...

Look for an anouncement during Emofest. Yep. I'd guess it's now an XPR-7. Emotiva showed a (likely) prototype of the XPR-7 during the "Emotiva on the Road - Chicago" event this past April. Hair Nick posted a photo (click to embiggen). From left to right: XPR-7 | XPR-5 | XPR-2 | XPR-1 Also, notice the poster flanking the left side of the table. Bottom amp. Maybe it's just the 7-350 in a different chassis, but maybe not. I'm thinking we'll get more info during Emofest.

The XPR-7 will be making an appearance in the near future. For those of you who were lucky enough to purchase the 7-350's at $999.00, you should feel like the smartest guys on the planet!

So it appears that if you order this amp yesterday on their website and did receive a confirmation that you have to wait until September. That's what I'm being told by customer support. I explain that I didn't preorder this and it was available when I added it to cart. They tole me mine would ship out today. Now you got me worried. I just sold and shipped off my xpa-5

Got the email about that sale when I returned home from a round of golf. I wasn't too happy to see that amp wasn't available. I should have stayed home today! I'd have had one on the way!

hmm, not happy with the communication Placed my order on Wednesday over the phone with Emotiva, and I was told it will ship very next day. Did not receive any email yesterday, so I contacted them today, and I was told that the inventory was sold out, and they will ship around Aug 30

My PA7-350 arrived this morning. The FedEx guy 'bout crapped his pants lugging the carton off the back of the truck by it's nylon strapping. He said it was by far the heaviest package delivery for him that day. Got my hand truck at the ready!

So I am installing the PA7-350 in the same spot as my UPA-7 was in. After killing myself removing the UPA-7 and cozying up the new gargantuan amp in place all by myself, I started to connect all the existing input and speaker wiring. Damn, I have double banana speaker adapters on all of my speaker pairs - guess what - the Sherbourn speaker termination spacing is too far apart to use them. I don't have enough single bananas on hand. Installation is in limbo! Why don't you people stick to standards?

Maybe simply use bare speaker wire until you have an opportunity to outfit all of the wires the way you want/need them? At least you would be "up and running" in the meantime. Just a thought, and good luck.

Just a thought, and good luck. Of course I could do that or reconnect the UPA-7, but I DON"T WANT TO! I found some 1 inch double banana plugs at Olsonics
