I suppose you've never worked at a new car dealership. The customers lie more than politicians.

And one on earth happened to the "Client is always right"? Not that it a true but not listening to customers or potential customers is being on the path to downfall. Furthermore, isn't this being a US dominated forum, what ever happened to freedom of speech? You don't have to agree with all posts, but come on, just state that that you disagree, It's not a fecking cult, is it? I suppose you've never worked at a new car dealership. The customers lie more than politicians. My original post left it open to multiple interpretations, I edited it to be more clear. Of course, the clients are not always right but their opinions matter, a lot.

Huh? "Not that it a true..."? Maybe something was lost in the translation? And my response was a humorous one. I work at a new car dealership service department and I've heard it all.. Try closing your eyes and taking several deep breaths. My apologies, my original post certainly was open to interpretation in many ways. What I meant to say was that the client is not always right but the opinions of your clients always matters. And no, I never was unlucky enough to have to work at car dealership.

Well, "freedom of speech" doesn't apply to private property, including these forums. They can set their rules however they want, and as anyone who's had to work with customers, current or potential, they are NOT always right As for cults... Emotiva surely has a dedicated following, maybe even bordering on being "cultish" and I'm one of them. Fantastic gear, regardless of the price. Peace Out! <mic drop> I didn't mean that in the sense of Emotiva being in their right to delete or moderate anyway they want to, I meant in the sense of this being a discussion forum. What's the point if you're not allowed to express your opinion unless it just praises Emotiva? Nobody benefits from contractive criticism being allowed, especially not Emotiva. So if someone says, I'd hope they the new speakers would have come in another colour, why on earth does anyone have to go on long rant about it? If you disagree fine, just state that. After all, if this forum was just meant to be for Emotiva to publish information, did why give us the possibility to post at all? It's a small minority of people who will defend Emotiva and it's policies, products, etc. to the end of times. I have found Emotiva to be quite responsive to constructive criticism and have they gone out of their way to explain, why, where and when. I don't know of any other audio company that does this to the extent that Emotiva does.

This being a privately owned and moderared forum. Fattykidd was a bit OTT and brought other beef he had into it, but he left. So no need to rant about him anymore, is there?

Besides, you get 3 years or more warranty and service for most reliable car brands. Why the need to lie?

Ask the guy that drove his fairly new vehicle into water deep enough to lock the engine and bend rods. Whose catalytic converter and muffler were flooded with water. Whose intake and exhaust valves had begun rusting. Who had a new aftermarket starter installed that was burned up from trying to start the car. Whose engine had a clear and discernible water line that was above the level of the air intake and whose air filter element was completely missing. Who swore to us that he just went out to start his garage kept car one morning and it just wouldn't start. And this example is the tip of the iceburg...

As long as it's glossy! Seriously, I've in order for all the cars I owned in order (some at the same time), I've had Black, White, Silver Metallic, Techno Violet Metallic, Navy Blue Metallic, Red, Carbon Black Metallic, Alfa Rosso, Silver Metallic, Arena Red Metallic, Monaco Blue, Alpin White III. Probably forgot some and then I've had numerous race cars in white or silver. FTR, my speakers are black, albeit not matte!
