I guess it's similar to vehicle speed limits. In the US, at least, limits rarely are rarely above 75 but cars capable of over 130 mph are everywhere. Okay, maybe a dumb point because I don't think anyone has ever been arrested nor heavily fined for owning a powerful amplifier. I came close during my 'pretending to be deaf' phase.

I wonder what kind of support could be mustered for a Full Featured INTEGRATED amp? Maybe 200x2 with DAC, tone controls, Bass management and maybe even a processor loop. 'Split' pre / main, of course as well as HT passthru. Include 1 or 2 sets of Balanced I/O of course. You could 'innovate' with a 3rd (center) channel output as well. Maybe 1200$ to 1500$ max price. Call it 1/2 the price of the Parasound Halo integrated. For THAT matter, if EMO made an FM tuner, I'd consider it. Make it for about 90$ retail, small in form factor and enough 'memory' for all local stations. Integrated amps are usually a low volume item. It’s probably why Emotiva doesn’t make them. How many Mega Amps would they sell? Free Tuner with every pair sold?

Actually, what I'd like would be a 25 watt integrated - built-in (non-Sabre) DAC and remote volume. The more output devices you add to an amplifier, the harder it becomes to make the choir sing in unison.

Just kidding.

No thank you I have 3 XPR-1s think I'm good! You are one lucky person, I was unaware of Emotiva's products at the time those amplifiers were in production. It would be awesome if the folks at Emotiva would revisit that particular design. Is it me or does the XPR-1 look very similar to the Krell master reference mono block? Both are statement products that probably sound the same within their respective design limitations. Your thoughts?

Very cool, being a fisherman myself, I will check out the hyper you sent. Thank You. I do have a question; how does would this device help in your listening room? I set the hook on everyone that hears/sees it!

Looks like I will be spending cash there as well. Much appreciated.

If they are switch mode class D...super efficient. I am running JTR 215's (up to 2000 watts). I currently have all Gen 1 power from 3 XPA-1, 1 XPA-5 and 1 XPA-3. Running the 215's full range on movies can push them...have considered going pro amps like crest or QSC, but Dan has me hoping for the holy grail.
